Indis returned to his home the moment he stepped inside the house a tight slap fell on his cheeks he stumbled due to the force falling on the ground his father was standing there with cold eyes "will you fucking stop causing problems for once!" He shouted at him. Making indis flinch he felt his eardrum go numb from that slap his cheek was bright red and swollen.
But the shower of insults and shouting continued making his ear's go numb he couldn't hear he felt numb being used to this yelling and shouting those words of mockery he was a child prodigy he was ahead of his peer always a little above over average but it was never enough for his parents.
All his childhood his parents were busy running around for the greater good of the tribe and other people so much so that they never had the time of day to sit with their only child and ask him how was his day or time to take a minute to acknowledge his hardwork to make them proud all they would say is good give one glance turning away to do their duties.
He often saw how his friends ran to their parents when they fall and how their parents would gently coaxy them into applying medicine so much so that one day he deliberately jumped down the tree throwing a fit of not using medicine but when his parents saw this they marely said "fine then do it on your own I don't got the time"
There was no one to hold his hand and take a walk while patiently listening to how his day was or how he was feeling there was no one who would embrace him when he was crying no one but Astrid and his mother they met when he was already seven. since then he had actually felt was he was missing.he never realised that even when his parents gave him money and everything expensive providing is not the same as loving.
His parents were perfect and they wanted a perfect child not him they wanted a machine just like them who could work efficiently not a person who had emotions and an individual sense of thinking needs. Since then indis distanced himself emotionally from them and the worst part is they didn't even notice it that the house which would sound with laughter of joy by a certain someone who would wait for their return eagerly.
Even now indis didn't say anything staying quite as if he was deaf and couldn't hear what they were saying finally his mother stopped his father as she led him to tend to his wounds surprisingly Indis didn't have any wounds other than the one her husband gave him she tended to his wounds quietly seeing the look of indifference she really didn't know what to say "You shouldn't hang out with that friend of yours anymore."
Indis felt like his chest was suffocating he was literally missing that too kidnapped by Wolf's and that's all she has to say to him? It's not like he was expecting much in the first place but to think that she would even try to make him leave behind something he was now emotionally attached to shows how heartless she truly is making Indis more certain in his resolve to stay with Astrid.

That day Astrid and his mother returned home both lost in their own thoughts Astrid has finally understood why he would have those dreams it was not related to the trauma nor was it related to him being her mate it was because of that day she saved him. Which means a question arises "how did she knew he was in danger?"
To be honest he was curious about few more things like what was she doing all those years and when and how did she realised that he was her mate? Most of all why didn't she just take him with her instead of letting him stay here? Did she not love her mate anymore this thought made him feel sour not because he cared or anything it just felt like a betrayal and Astrid does not like back stabbers at least that what he thought.
He shook his head stopping more absurd thoughts from surfacing Maybe he should go check on Indis hope he is not having a hard time with his parents it was only a thought because after that his mother dragged him into the room having a full body checkup even when he said no out of embarrassment "ma! I am a grown up ok!"
"I fucking gave birth to you! Your my flesh and blood shut up take those off or I will!"
Just like that his body examination took hours and free nagging from his mother making him so tried that he fell asleep instantly after falling on bed they would be meeting tomorrow anyway so he slept peacefully until the very next morning he was woken up by something very heavy falling on him almost making his body flat!

"Haha! Get up sleepy head you don't want your date waiting for you longer do you?"
"Fuck off bro! Let me sleep for few minutes!"
"Phew! Your choice if you want to die by breaking the blood pack have it your way!"
"Shit! I totally forgot about that bloody thing! I'll be up in few minutes wait for me!"
Just like that Astrid woke up with a grumpy mood and got ready with the speed of light only changing his clothes not even taking a bath Indis frowned at his unclean behaviour.
"What?" Astrid asked after seeing Indis disapproving look. "Sigh* it seems your planing to get away from that lord is coming to fruition early with such unclean habits I bet she'd reject you instantly"
Since it was a well known fact that wolf have sharp sense of smell it would be rediculous if the beast lord could handle his strong body scent but what they both didn't know is that strong body scent is a freaking huge turn on in Wolf's species pray for dear Astrid to not get eaten on his first date (人*´∀｀)｡*ﾟ+.
Astrid and Indis were going to sneak out but Mrs.Maya wouldn't be a mother he she didn't knew what her children were up to just when Astrid gave a thumbs up indicating that coast is clear and they were going to take a run for it a voice sounded from kitchen "DON'T YOU GUYS DARE STEP FOOT OUT SIDE WITHOUT EATING! "
Astrid turned around in fright bumping his forehead with Indis "ouch!" Exclaimed both of them rubbing their forehead togather this was witnessed by Mrs.Maya who just came out of kitchen with a spoon still in hand she laughed at their reactions "serves you guys right! For sneaking behind my back hump!"
Astrid "mother! I don't have time to eat! I have to be on the boarder on time!"
To be honest he doesn't want his mother to follow him like a dictator so he wanted to sneak out no matter what the circumstances it was his first date he doesn't want his mother to baby him during that come to think of it just yesterday he was scared shitless by Wolf's but today he is going out on a date with one ughh! Talk about bumping into the things your trying to run away from ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
Mrs. Maya wouldn't be his mother if she didn't knew what his child was thinking "sit and eat or else I'll follow behind you both!" That threat was damn effective as they sat and eat in quite even eating with proper etiquette after all last time they tried to eat fast their poor ear's were squeezed to death.
After this they walked out of the door but before they could go Mrs.maya came to them and hugged Indis who also hugged her back she rubbed his back in a comforting manner "child. I don't know what happened at home with your parents but let me tell you everyone have their own way of showing care and love to some of us it would seem odd but that doesn't mean they don't love you just because they don't show it your way , child you understand right?"
Indis didn't say a word just just humming in response as he held her more tightly giving her shoulders a gentle squeeze after that they bid their goodbyes Mrs.Maya returning to do her daily chores as her two boys rode off with the horses.
After just few minutes they reached the boarder a magnificent carriage came into view with two figures standing by it the sight was magical as if a fairy tale prince has came to take his princess away the thing is the golden open carriage was bloody expensive for a moment Astrid had second thoughts of marrying this rich lord and spending his days idling away.
But when his sight fell on the first beast lord these dangerous thoughts vanished that tall muscular body told him otherwise she looked much more powerful than any ordinary alpha and plus his mother took it upon herself teaching him about werewolf anatomy to him he was shocked to know that even girl alpha's have penis and he couldn't imagine how his first time would be getting pegged nor was he curious to find out whether he was pegged in his last life.
They reached the carriage just when Astrid was going to get down strong arms wrapped around his thin waist guiding his body down as his feet touched the solid ground for a moment Astrid was left stunned she just lifted him like he was a baby! He decided to not voice out how he felt about it instead Jinx couldn't help reaching out to smoothen the disheveled hair which probably were caused by wind while he was riding the horse but Astrid flinched at her touch.
It made her frown in displeasure but she withdrew her hand regardless she may not like how he was still afraid of her but she respected his boundaries as her mate she only wants the best for him but on other hand Astrid true reason for flinching was because he was still lost in thoughts of wheather he really did ride her in past life or not so when the person in question touched him out of nowhere he got suprised.
To not make atmosphere any awkward he decided to change the subject "what are we doing today?" Jinx rubbed her neck a little bit reculant to speak "we originally planned to go to a lake but the road there seemed pretty bumpy unsuitable for carriage ride so-"
"So?"
"So I thought I could change to my beast form and you can ride me if it's okay with you?"
Astrid almost tripped when he heard the words ride on me he really didn't knew wheather she could hear him or it was entirely out of coincidence with a stammering voice he replied "N..no..no..we ca..can just take the horses" with that said Jinx didn't mind it after all it seemed that Astrid was still scared of her so it better to not show him her beast form which was much bigger and intimidating than any Wolf's on the whole earth she slightly vowed to only show it when Astrid's asks her out of his own accord
Jinx hopped on the horse's back extending her hand for Astrid at that moment Astrid realised he looked at the carriage attached by many wolfs to the person on horse extending their hand to him it was either he rides a wolf with no guarantee that it will eat him or not or he rides the horse with the beast lord basically it was two choices wheather he prefers to jump off Cliff or drown to death at least the latter is much less painful than former.
Logically he went with the second choice grabbing that hand and sitting in front of Jinx poor him had no idea that those small praditor had no chance against the beast sitting behind him who was hungry to devour him making the poor wolf least of his concern.
When he sat there he didn't think it was a much of big deal until his back pressed against those hard abdominal muscles and the chest ohh boy it was flat ¯\_ʘ‿ʘ_/¯ thank gosh otherwise he would have had heartattack if something much rounded and soft were to press against him but something more tragic was waiting for him as she was taller than him her warm breath was directly hitting on his sensitive ears making him shiver he almost gasped when Jinx whispered in his ear "Are you cold?" No! He wasn't! Instead he was feeling hot ok!
While this pair of love birds were having a romantic time on the other side someone was itching to kill a person.
Indis got down from the horse and sadly the face he so made his mood sour , Covy ignored the dark expression on that pretty face flashing his good boy smile "why did you come?" Indis scoffed at him "i could ask the same to you?" Covy shrugged his shoulders "to protect our Luna duh!" Indis was enraged to hear even their first day hasn't started yet but see how confident this fool looks! "Who the fuck is your Luna! He still hasn't agreed yet! That's not going to at least not until I am alive!" Covy have a cheeky smile in a taunting manner.
"When are you planning to die then?"
"You!"
Indis closed his eyes took a deep breath then opend them with a beutiful smile gracing his pink lips as he stepped closer to Covy , he looked so charming with his green eyes sparkling like Ruby with such close distance Covy could smell that enchanting scent making him feel dizzy as his mind clouded heat sipping from his head to the lower body he clinched his fist tightly in order to keep his sanity he wanted to bite into that pale neck his wolf instinct were screaming to devour such good scent he cursed in his mind thinking that this elf was doing this on purpose or what? After all isn't that one of the common knowledge that wolf have strong sense of smell?
His clouded mind was brought back to earth when those green eyes turned cold the smile becoming mocking "rest assured i don't plan on dying before you do" this sent chills down his spine but before he could comeback with a reply the culprit turned away climbing on the horse and taking off behind the couple. Covy cursed under his breath vowing to take revenge as he also transformed into his wolf form chasing after the rest of them.
It only took two hours before they reached there along the way Astrid asked about the things he wanted to ask to chase away the embarrassment he felt due to the warmth coming from where they were completely plastered togather. "Umm..i wanted to ask something may i?" Jinx made a soft humming sound in acknowledgement causing Astrid to feel tingly over his ear so he reached out and rubbed it "well i heard from my mother that you were the one who saved us 17 years ago? " Jinx eyes were still fixed on road ahead as she replied "Yes."
Another question was thrown at her "how did you know that I needed help or where I was?"
"You were hurt. Every time you bleed I can sense it and you told me yourself where you were."
"Me?"
"Hm.yes "
Although this answer doesn't make that much sense he can't do anything so he choose to ask another question "if you knew that I was your mate why didn't you just take me back with you?"
Jinx eyes looked with his something unfamiliar flashing between those eyes fear? Panic but before he could tell what it was she looked ahead "You won't understand now even if I answered you." Ohh come on! You can't say something like that and then refuse to answer (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ it's illigal ok!
As if she could tell his frustration she sighed replying in a solemn tone "because I was afraid of you getting hurt." Astrid felt confused to hear it get hurt from whome exactly? If she was the most powerful beast lord and even killed the wolf god Nayan does she even have anyone to fear? This doesn't made sense Jinx looked at the little overthinker with a smile she leaned down her lips brushing against those cute little pointy ear's.
Astrid gasped as an electric current passed through his body "stop overthinking we are here" damn! His stomach felt like a dozen of butterflies just taken flight there he quickly got off not wanting to embarrass himself more that little gasp was so shameful he hoped that Jinx didn't hear it but wolf wouldn't be called hunters if they didn't have sharp hearing she clearly heard that sweet sound but choose to ignore it as not to fluster her little rabbit more otherwise he might hide in the hole and wouldn't come out even when she begged. Ignorance is bliss and truly it is as the beutiful lake came into the view Astrid felt his breath stop for a moment. Jinx's corner of lips arched upwards as she looked at Astrid "the view is beautiful isn't it?" Astrid nodded vigorously not even paying attention to what*kind of view Jinx was talking about.
Once again while these lovebirds were having the time of their life Covy's wolf form was getting teased by the naughty Red head elf. Indis was a little surprised to see a wolf followe them but he thought it would be one of the guard of beast lord imagine the thing when he reached the lake and tried to talk to the paw licking wolf only to find out that it was Covy it made him laugh he patted his head like a puppy feeling the soft furr at first Covy compromised about the patting as it felt good when he was scratched behind the ears but when Indis went as far as touching him here and there he leaped up pinning Indis down giving out an warning growl "didn't I say stop?" Indis shrugged not acknowledging his wrongs clearly they both were enjoying it so why should he take the blame alone? Although that's what he thought but to Covy it was basically an opportunity to extract out his revange he smirked at the elf pinned below him "i heard that elf's ear are ten times more sensitive than ours is that true?" Indis had a bad feeling about that tone but he genuinely didn't know the answer to that so he just shrugged replying truthfully "i don't know."
"Then... let's test it?" Before Indis could ask what he meant by this his right ear was licked by a barbed tongue it was as if a smooth brush was used to tickle him he gasped as his face heated up unsure if it was from angre or shame he shouted "what the fuck are you doing?" Covy ignored the chickens pecking sticking out his tongue and licking at that smooth skin again making Indis let out an dirty sqeaking sound which shocked the both of them forze stiff to their palce they looked into eachothers eyes.
Indis pushed Covy off as he ran to catch behind Astrid leaving behind a stunned wolf , Covy didn't know what to make of this now he felt all awkward and shy so he let Indis go without any restriction before he sighed changing into his human form as he followed behind them this time keeping a good distance between them as if he would get burnt if he accidentally touched Indis.
