The first of the symbols, as per tradition, was the documents. It comforted Lua knowing they were still in familiar grounds, not exactly charting unexplored lands just yet. He could still absolutely rely on the documents to learn the "official" way to advance.
Next of the symbols was a bell. It was quite the odd symbol, but Lua didn't feel like decrypting it just yet. He had plenty of time. Of course, he still feared that ignoring the symbols would cause a great tragedy again, but he no longer had anyone he could put in danger. He was safe to put them off for a little longer.
The third symbol was a book. Lua's mind instantly jumped to the reader descendancy after seeing his mother read for hundreds of times, but he couldn't make the connection. He gave up on it and decided to look into it another time.
