As the Silver Fangs descended to the bottom of the stairs, they encountered a massive steel door. Closing in, the group positioned themselves only a meter away from the imposing barrier. With a sudden pull, the metal door lifted, revealing an unexpected and intense rush of heat that struck their faces upon entry.
The passage beyond the steel door resembled the inner recesses of a cave, with multiple furnaces lined up along its length, emanating intense heat. These furnaces served the purpose of heating ores for processing, though the processing unit itself was located in a different level of the subdomain. This particular passage, however, specifically radiated the exhaust heat from these furnaces, creating an environment that was extremely inhospitable for humans and typical creatures. Only monsters with thick and tough hides, such as the evolved rhino monsters, could endure the extreme conditions in this heat-laden passage.
