Eri walked to school, more cheerful then usually today, as today was finally her birthday. She spent all night writing handmade invitations the give out to all her classmates and she couldn't hide her excitment as she has a grin the whole way she walks to class.
She keeps her head day, as she was a very timid and introverted person. There was also the fact that during the morning, the mood of people can vary and she didn't want her to risk her mood to be spoiled by any negitive aura of any sorts and she quickly scurries to her classroom.
As Eri walks inside, she notices that handful of students are aleeady here before them, each being in the own designated group. She looks down at her invatation cards she made, she closes her eyes and tries to find her confidence and she walks towards their directions.
But instead, she kept her head down and walked pass them. She couldn't help herself as throughout her life, she was never really good at talking with people. But she still feels upset about being unable to give them the invitations.
Eri walks to her seat at the back of the class and sits down. Students continue to fill in the class as she watches them come in one by one notcing each and every one of there aura's. The majority just being a drowsy blue, representing everyones tiredness.
But one girls aura stood out to her a lot and it was one of her few classmates she depresetly wanted to invite to her birthday. She was a popular girl and she easily makes friends with everyone around her. Her aura color is a royal pink showing off how outstanding and friendly she is.
Eri thought if anyone could help her out of her shell, it would be her as she watches her and keeps her adoring grin to herself. Though when she starts thinking about it and how completly different they are, she feels a little bummed out, her heart wavers a little but she shakes it off. Eri reminds herself that today will be the day thatvshe finally makes some friends.
The bell rings and class begins, and day passes by in no time as the bell rimgs again and its now free time. As everyone leaves the class, Eri is disapointed in herself as she was unable to find any courage to give, not even a single person an invitation.
As Eri makes her way out of the class. Her teacher stops her and tells her hapoy birthday as she goes into her desk and takes out a box of chocolates to give to Eri.
Eri is extremely grateful to the teacher and thanks her. But before Eri leaves, she turns but then in a meek and quiet voice, ask if the teacher could help her out in any way with getting the invitation to all her classmates.
She explains the whole situation to her teacher and tells her how much time she spent, how she wanted to change but also how she was an extremely shy person.
As they teacher sits there and thinks for a bit, her face lights up as she goes inside her desk against and takes out a piece of paper from a folder. She hands it to Eri, the paper had pictures of lockers with numbers on it. She explained to Eri that those lockers were her classmates.
Her teacher told her how, as she knows, everyone has to change out their shoes and put them in the lockers. So if Eri puts the invatations in each of there locker, they would all eventelly see it.
Eri thought it was an amazing idea and thanks her teacher many times over. The teacher told her not to worry about but ask her to not tell anybofy what she did for her as she winked at Eri, shoo'ing her and told her to hurry before free time ends.
Eri thanks her teacher one more time before she scurried out the class and into the hallways. She kept her head down but her eyes out as she made sure not ti run into anyone while she hurries down the hall to the front of the school where the lockers were at.
When Eri got to her destination, she looked around to make sure the coast was clear before she took out the sheet with the locker numbers and invitations. She went each and everyone of the lockers putting the invitations inside every single that was on the paper until she got the the last locker.
As Eri gets to the locker, she noticed how decorated and pretty it was, reminding her of the cool girl in her class. As she grinned to herself while taking out the last invitation, someone comes by, making her feel anxious.
Eri turned to notice someine, but she couldn't see who it was clearly put she hurridly slide the card inside the locker and sidesaddles her way out of her there, her feet making little pitter patter as she rushes back to the class.
After getting back to class in a hurry, Eri was exhausted and caught her breath, the teacher noticed Eri panting and chuckled to herself, looks like you were in a hurry she says, as Eri catches her breath and thanks her again while habding back the sheet of paper.
Eri makes her way back to her seat, her heart her racing with excitment, she couldn't wait for school to be over and she started thinkibg about alk the things she would do and all the possible friends she could make. Her face turns red as her excitment builds up, students started coming back into the classroom.
Eri quickly put her head down and hid her face, not wanting people to find her weird if they notice her smiling and face all red. But she hide all of it as she was kicking her legs under the desk.
As students start to fill up the class again, the final student came into class and Eri liiked up to see the cool girl walk in. She looked as awsome as ever Eri thought, but suddenly, the girl looked towards her direction.
Eri felt a rush of ice rush through her blood as she immedielty turns her head to look away from her. Eri was shivering, what was that feeling she just felt now. Eri didn't know exactly where it came from, or more, she didn't want to believe who it came from, as she quickly tries to forget about it and think positively.
As time passes, the final bell rings, and she hurridely packed her stuff so she could get back home and prepare for the party as fadt as possible.Eru never fully got the chilling feeling out of her mind but whilr she was walking out if class, she felt it again, Eri started to worry about it but she clamed herself down.
Eri made a promise to herself to be positive and make sure today goes spendedly as she scurried past everyone in the hallway and out the school.
When Eri finally got back home, she took her keys out and unlocked the door to her house. She unpacked everything and started preparing before anyone got here.
She looked through her closet to see what she wanted to wear, and Eri ends upndeciding in simple black shirt with sleeves that showed off a bit of her shoulders.
Eri looked in the fridge as she saw the cupcake she bought the ither day stilk there. She was a sad that she couldn't affored a cake, she doesn't get that much money ti pay for herself. Eri's grandparents help pay her house bills but they couldnt send enough for Eri to spend to much for herself.
Eri was still super grateful for her grandparents and remind them that it was fine and not to worry about it, as she takes out the cupcake and puts it on the table in the living room.
Now all that's left is to wait for the visitors. As Eri sat down on the floor waiting for the doorbell to ring. But ad time continue to past and no one arricing, Eri's demeanor begin to disipate as her heart aches with every passing minute.
But eventually someone did come after a lot happening, though after realizing the true aura of the "cool" girl she didn't really know what to think anymore.
Eri was now sitting with stranger in front of her, she didn't really know what to do or say, but his aura in of it itself was slowly making Eri's disapointing birthday better. She was also glad that someone came to her birthday, that she wasnt going to spend another year alone, and Eri couldnt help but hide a smile.
