Samir waited until the moon was up to set out into the desert again.
He had been gone from home for three days now, and it was starting to irritate him. The girl had started going out into the night and meditating in the windowsill of his bedroom - which, under other circumstances, wouldn't be that strange. Given the fact she had never done it before, though, it was piquing his curiosity.
She was up to something, he was sure of it. He needed to complete his mission and return to the palace as soon as possible to keep a closer eye on her. Prince Samir wasn't frightened of it so much as he was utterly curious what kind of strange thing she could be up to.
The little nymph was fascinating. He wanted to make her angry and impede her efforts just to watch her squirm…
