"What is that supposed to mean?" Nazmi asked with an apprehensive frown. She swallowed the heat that she had started to feel in her abdomen. "I thought we just cleared up the misunderstanding?"
"Far from it, actually," Samir replied lazily, his normal sarcastic way of speaking returning. "If anything, I will keep you longer now."
Nazmi swallowed hard. "H-huh?"
She subconsciously took a few small steps back until her rear hit the windowsill. The nymph was feeling equal parts fear and excitement, much to her own dismay. She still couldn't figure out what was so alluring about this man besides his looks.
Samir closed the gap between them and placed his hands on either side of her. She was forced to sit on the edge of the windowsill with her back against the cold glass. The Prince looked deeply into her eyes with his intense golden stare.
