Shea and Nazmi stood outside the tall, golden gates that led to the Scholar's Court. It was a sight to behold, certainly… but it sent ice down the nymph's spine. Everything about the court was unsettlingly perfect; though the whole building wasn't in view, she could see from the outside that it was entirely symmetrical. It was a large stone structure with stained glass and twelve tall spires, six on each side.
It felt ominous, and she could tell that there was nothing good waiting for her inside, but the two had been awkwardly standing outside the gate for a few minutes. All of the waiting was starting to make her anxious.
"Are we going in?" Nazmi asked, turning her head to look at her blonde companion.
Shea's expression was rigid, and without a verbal response took a few steps toward the gate. The sorceress cast a spell by drawing some sort of golden rune in the air, and the gate flung itself open.
