Letting herself be assaulted by those merciless monsters called Ironmaws. She did all of that while I was being too invested in my fear. I let myself be an irresponsible Luna who put her pack's members in danger.
And I couldn't forgive myself for that.
I was planning to head back to the clinic to check up on Kendra, but my ear caught someone was conversing inside. I took a peek and realized who they were. Elliott and Jordan were talking with each other. Their faces twisted into serious looks and curiosity won over me. I leaned closer to the door and eavesdropped their talk.
