It was the day of our mission. I should be going with Kendra and sneaking into Ironmaws' base to steal that document. The document that talked about the peace treaty among the werewolves. And also the only document that could stop Roman and his pack from causing another problem with humans.
I still wasn't sure about my fighting or survival skills. Damn, I am pretty sure I would be nothing but a burden to Kendra. But I couldn't just sit back and watch everything go into the crumble. I couldn't let Kendra jump into that danger alone to save our pack. And I was sure I wouldn't be able to face anybody else if everything happened to Kendra.
After all, I am the Luna. And it is my duty to keep my pack safe.
"Are you ready?" Kendra asked me while I was packing a little stuff in my bag.
