Chapter 28 - Time With Luna and Ginny

For the next few days I spent them in a new routine. I started sharing a table with Luna in Transfiguration and partnering with her during Herbology classes. In Potions and Charms classes I sat next to Ginny.

In Defense Against The Dark Arts and Astronomy I had classes with Hufflepuff and no one in particular wanted to share a table with me. In DADA I sat with Earl Thompson and in Astronomy I didn't need to share a table with anyone.

I had interesting conversations with both girls.

I took some time trying to understand Luna and what I understood was that her eyes were not completely natural.

She started to see emotions after an experiment that went wrong and blew up part of her house. The bad side of this event was that her mother ended up passing away due to this explosion.

When I told her that what she saw were people's emotions, she thought for a few moments, but soon seemed to ignore this information.

Another thing I discovered was the fact that she can see the Thestrals that pull the carriages to Hogwarts, something I can't see since I haven't seen anyone die in this life.

With Ginny, our conversations were more about her understanding me.

After another potions class, the following monday, she accompanied me to the castle's inner courtyard.

"I'm still having trouble understanding you." – she said confused.

I smiled at her and I could see in her eyes that she was transitioning from curiosity to interest.

"One of the things I have set as a goal in this life is the fact that I will have more than just one wife." – I explained to her.

She bit her lip worriedly.

"But why would anyone accept that kind of thing?" – she asked.

"I show whoever is interested what I have to offer and let them make the decision, it's not too difficult if they've already gotten involved with me." – I said with confidence and a little arrogance.

She laughed at my statement.

"What could you offer that would convince someone to accept a relationship like that?" – she replied, thinking I was a little crazy.

I laughed for a moment.

"Maybe the fact that my soul is very old and I have access to knowledge beyond this world and I am able to strengthen my partner to the point of reaching the peak of magic in almost record time." – I told her in a low voice so that no one else would hear.

Ginny laughed.

"As if I would believe that." - she said.

"Your magical core evolved recently, you started to feel that performing Spells became easier after that and with that you have now equaled or probably surpassed Ronald." – I said trying to make her believe me.

She bit her lip again.

"He just doesn't study much." – she tried to argue.

"How many tries until you disarm him?" – I asked curiously.

"Two." – she confessed.

"And how many for him to disarm you?" – I continued asking.

"Four. But it was only because I was lucky." – she tried again.

"He spends a lot of time thinking about how to harass the Slytherin students. If he used this time to practice and study, he wouldn't have been surpassed by his younger sister so easily." – I said, noting the obvious.

Although the Dueling Club was discontinued after Lockhart proved a complete failure, students continue to practice privately, some in their bedrooms, others in the common rooms, and even in open areas outside the castle.

Something that despite being outside the rules has been lightly permitted due to the lack of serious incidents.

"I'm looking for partners who want to explore this world to the fullest and who don't mind leaving it when the time is right. I need help getting home and without multiple partners this ends up taking longer than I would like." – I explained to her.

Ginny wrinkled her nose.

"Is it basically impossible to believe what you say, get out of this world? It's like you're making all this up to convince someone naive enough to go to bed with you." – she said without any confidence in me.

"Do you want me to make an unbreakable vow?" – I asked her.

"Do you know how dangerous an unbreakable vow is?" – she asked.

I nodded with a smile.

She shook her head not knowing what to do.

"I just don't know who we can use as a witness, it's not like I'm going to go around telling my secrets." – I said, pretending to be thoughtful.

She then punched me in the arm in outrage.

"Okay, I understand that you are not lying. It's just that I don't know, my brothers won't like it at all if I get involved with someone from Slytherin, especially you talking about having multiple girls." – she said a little red.

"Oh, so you're interested?" – I asked with a wide smile.

Ginny then blushed completely in front of me.

She tried to run away from me, but I held her hand.

"What would you do if one day you were at the top of the wizarding world?" – I asked.

She stopped trying to escape and sat down next to me again, really thoughtful.

I could see that she was thinking deeply about what she would do.

"I don't know, honestly. I've always wanted to play Quidditch and I really enjoy duels, but without the Club I basically only have Ron to train with." – she said after a few minutes.

I debated whether I should tell her what the world was about to witness and decided it would be a good convincing point for her.

"What if I told you that Voldcunt would return in the next few years?" – I asked.

She froze for a moment.

"I don't know when, but I know his followers are active again, Bridget's dad was probably recruited into their little group." – I told her.

Ginny's mouth dropped open.

"But how come no one is talking about this?" – she asked incredulously.

"Money, influence, that kind of thing. The purebloods who followed him have many laws protecting them, so that why we can't do something without concrete proof. But I already warned McGonagall about this and she must have told the Headmaster." – I explained.

"How do you know that?" – she asked confused.

I smiled widely at her.

"I am the son of two Deatheaters and the nephew of another, due to my uncle I know the names of the main Deatheaters still at large and some of their opponents." – I said without any shame.

Ginny put her hand over her mouth in surprise.

"You are…" – she began, but I interrupted her.

"Both of my parents are dead and my uncle is a failure in every way, I live alone in the house that belonged to my father and I made a point of removing everyone who had authorization from the wards of my house." – I explained to her.

She became a little calmer, but not completely.

"Who is your uncle?" – she asked.

"Augustus Nott, father of Theodore from the same year as Ronald." – I replied.

She kept trying to remember Theodore.

"He's one of the quietest third-year Slytherins from what I've heard." – she commented.

"He doesn't want to get into too much trouble, but at the same time he can't help but support the Slytherin supremacists otherwise his father will beat him up when he returns home." – I explained.

My casual tone made her confused.

"Is he going to hit Theodore?" – she asked fearfully.

I nodded.

"I grew up in their house, he beat us both almost daily. He's a degenerate drunk." – I said.

"You don't look like someone who was abused their entire childhood…no offense." – She said, half thoughtfully until she realized what she had said.

I laughed out loud at her statement.

"I fixed my body over the summer." – I explained with a sarcastic smile.

Ginny blushed at that moment.

She probably heard all the rumors about me that were going around the castle. From my shirtless appearance while taking care of Malfoy's little group, to the fact that Gemma announced in the middle of the common room that I was good in bed.

"Let's say I found a good combination of medicines, but not everything was due to them." – I said teasingly.

Ginny blushed even more.

Unfortunately we were running out of time, I needed to go to Herbology class.

I pulled her close to me and gave her a kiss on the lips, taking her by surprise.

She didn't fight, just closed her eyes.

"Why did you do that?" – she asked when I walked away, opening her eyes.

"I was in the mood for a snack." – I said, getting up from the bench.

She looked at me in disbelief at my words.

"See you later Ginny." – I said goodbye to her, leaving the girl sitting without knowing what to do.
