Louise left the room and made his way to his study after he had put his daughter back to sleep.
Knorr was working on his tablet while seated at his table, and the girl was in front of him when he arrived. Her hair fell over her shoulders in a pigtail braid.
He did not feel comfortable around her despite her youthful appearance and innocent demeanor; her brown eyes were unsettling.
The moment the girl's eyes met his, she instantly fell to her knees and begged, "Sir, I did not do anything to her; she was fine with me until all of a sudden she became angry at me."
Knorr stopped what he was doing to observe the girl as she provocatively bent her body, exposing her fair thighs through her nightgown.
Louise's shrewd eyes glared at the girl as her stance caused him to furrow his brow deeply.
"How long have you been employed here," he inquired.
"Three days have passed," she replied.
