"Big Bro Arthur!"

"My house is two stories high."
"..."
"Its colored white"

"There is a 20 foot… no 40… or was it 15? There is a rednaught tree next to a small pond in the backyard.
"..."
"There are exactly 15 or maybe 20 fish."

"The grass is green"

Arthur was truly regretting leaving the carriage.
Ever since he left the carriage he decided to walk with Quan, Ren, and Jiang.
As for Leo, he was walking with a similarly aged youth compared to the battle hardened thirty to fifty years old soldiers.
Ever since they all shared a bit about themselves last night, he felt a lot closer to everyone.
And with Mana Sense on at all times, he can see if any of the soldiers make any suspicious movements.
The first few minutes were quite enjoyable as they walked with the sound of nature; rustling of trees, chirping of birds, and a nice calm conversion, until…
Until Ren asked about Arthur's usage of spatial element when he emerged from thin air with their young miss.
To which Arthur replied seeing no reason to hide such a fact he had already used it in front of them and had even mentioned his "grandfather" had used spatial element to teleport him here.
Since then Jiang had pestered him to no end to teleport them straight to the capital.
In hopes of wanting Jiang to stop pestering him, Arthur even told him the conditions that needed to be met before Teleport could be used.
And that was when Jiang started blabbering about his home's layout, his neighbors house, even details of some things Arthur would rather not have learned.
Quan and Ren tried to help, but it was to no avail.
Ren had tried apologizing, but Arthur had stopped him.
Arthur didn't blame Ren or Jiang.
Who would want to walk hundreds of miles?
Plus, Jiang's insistence wasn't all that bad, he was practically eating away at time because before Arthur knew it, two hours had gone by.
Arthur by that point had realized it was Jiang's way of passing time.
====================================
"Big Bro Arthur, I have been wondering do you not feel the call of nature?"
"...No!"
Honestly, after yesterday and confirming it today Arthur realized he might not have to use the bathroom ever again.
Arthur attributed it to another one of God's gifts.
At this point, nothing can surprise him.
====================================
"Big Bro Arthur, can you use those buff spells to make us faster?"
"... Jiang, do you use your brain before speaking?"
"Second brother, of course!"
"If you do then answer me, why are we walking instead of running?"
"Because I Cough, we would get tired"
"...This is because not everyone can run at the same speed. Not only that, the faster we run, the faster we run out of mana and stamina. If we were to run out of mana then what would happen if we were to be ambushed?" Arthur decided to help Jiang out. Jiang wasn't wrong, but he wasn't right either. Not that he was right for the right reason either.
"We all have different amounts of mana!" Quan couldn't help but add because his mana pool was pitifully low.
"Also, the mana required for just the activation of those buff spells on forty five people would be terrifyingly high."
"Leo is right, the mana required for just Haste and Boost on one person is quite terrifying but not only that to keep the spell activated the spells eats away at my mana pool every second. As for buffing forty five of us, let alone in maintaining the spell active, I would not be able to even activate the spells."
"I see, probably only a monster could achieve such a feat."
Although Arthur explained that he would not be able to buff everyone.
In fact, that was a lie, he had an inkling that his mana pool was… bottomless.
The reason why Arthur had lied was because he still had not found the spy.
Not that he felt suspicious toward his new friends.
If they were spies, Scarlet and him would never have met… the thought of that.
Once again, the fewer that know, the better.
If the spy were to know that Quan, Ren, Jiang, and Leo were being suspicious or at least acting weird toward the soldiers he would never do anything to blow his cover.
Although that would mean their location would be kept a secret.
That would also mean the spy can continue gathering information for the enemy with them none the wiser who he is.
====================================
The sun was now setting but still nothing…
Arthur felt that maybe he was just being paranoid.
From what he had deduced from Sir Thomas' retelling, it pointed to a spy among the convoy.
He just didn't know who it was, until now no one looked suspicious or even made any suspicious actions.
Everyone except Arthur, Quan, Ren, Jiang, and Leo were walking by themselves.
The only time contact was made between anyone else was when Leo would go and talk to his friend among the convoy.
