Chapter 11 - Advice needed

Liv moaned restlessly in her sleep, trapped by an erotic dream that transported her into a sensual affair with Arthur. In her dream, he took her in the missionary position, thrusting with a fervor that ignited her desires.

"Go harder! Oh, yeah, fuck me harder!" she cried out in her sleep, her hands traversing her body as her dream intensified. The room seemed to pulse with a salacious energy as she begged, "Please don't stop. Keep fucking me, Arthur. Keep fucking me, oh, yes!"

As the dream continued, their passion reaching a fevered crescendo, the door to the office burst open unexpectedly. Liv and Arthur both gasped in shock as their illicit rendezvous was abruptly exposed by the startled gaze of Joanna.

"WHAAAAAT!!" Joanna's exclamation reverberated at ear-splitting volume.

Liv abruptly jolted awake, her eyes wide open, still echoing with the shock from the dream. She scanned her surroundings and breathed a sigh of relief, realizing she was in her own room. The vivid, if unsettling, dream had concluded, her racing heart gradually returning to a normal rhythm as she recognized that the explicit encounter had been nothing more than a dream.

However, it also deepened her fear and apprehension, as the vividness of the dream blurred the lines between her reality and her secret desires.

Liv swiftly prepared for her workday, diligently ensuring she projected an image of responsibility to the outside world. She couldn't afford to let on that she was just a whore or as Arthur would prefer, a slut entangled in a secret affair with her closest friend's fiancé.

Upon her arrival at work, the day took a turn as her phone began to buzz, its screen displaying Arthur's name. Without hesitation, she grabbed her phone, subtly excusing herself from her colleagues and workmates. She walked a few paces away, seeking a discreet conversation.

"Hello, I'm at work right now," she responded into the phone, keeping her voice low and cautious.

Arthur's voice crackled through the line, his tone assertive and demanding. "I'm confident you can find a way out of there and make your way to my office immediately for a session that should conclude within thirty minutes. I have a meeting scheduled, so I won't keep you too long."

Liv shook her head, a sense of dread creeping over her. She couldn't bear the thought of another rendezvous in his office, especially after the unsettling dream that had left her disturbed.

She spoke with determination, "I'm sorry, but I can't. I promise, this time I'll meet you, but it has to be in your apartment, not your office, okay." With that, she swiftly ended the call, wary of any potential outbursts or further orders from Arthur.

The dream had served as a vivid warning that his office had become a danger zone

Returning to her seat, Liv let out a heavy sigh as she sank into her chair, her mind consumed by profound contemplation. The weight of her predicament bore down on her, leaving her feeling isolated and vulnerable. Amid the tumultuous thoughts swirling within her, she found herself unable to confide in anyone.

Anger had festered within her, leading her to distance herself from her friends, an act she viewed as disowning them for their failure to be candid. Their assurances that their intentions were rooted in concern did little to quell her inner turmoil; instead, their actions left her feeling foolish and deceived.

Liv's mind wandered back to the past, to the days when her friends, Lilia and Maddie, had distanced themselves from Martha. They had offered subtle hints, dropped clues, but Liv had been too blind to comprehend their implications.

And now, she was doing the same thing Martha did.

Desperate for guidance, Liv longed for someone to confide in, but she remained hesitant about how to broach the subject.

"Hey, Liv, you seem lost, what's up?" Her work friend, Meena, sat across from her, absorbed in her own tasks on the laptop.

Although the thought of sharing her predicament with Meena flitted through Liv's mind, the realization that Meena lacked the depth of experience in matters of the heart gave her pause. Typically, it was Liv who provided counsel to Meena, not the other way around.

With a weary heart, Liv shook her head, rethinking the notion of burdening Meena with her problem. Instead, she chose to keep her concerns to herself, offering a reply to Meena's query, "Nothing's wrong," even though her turmoil ran deep.

Meena nodded in understanding, focusing back on her work. "Okay, if you say so."

Feeling the growing urgency of her need for advice and guidance, Liv retrieved her phone and unlocked it.

She scrolled through her list of contacts, she paused and her finger hovered over Lilia and Maddie's names.

The thought of reaching out to them weighed on her, but the question remained: what should she say?

As indecision wrestled within her, Liv shook her head, ultimately opting to shed her pride and make the call, hoping that reestablishing a connection with her friends would offer some semblance of solace in her time of need.
