Kim Mugen encounters a dark man in the alleyway, before he can say anything, the dark man begins telling Kim a story. “How a man once picked up an empty, blank book, once the man opened up the book he disappeared… entirely”. After the strange man told Kim the story, Kim ran away but when he looked back to see the strange man, he couldn’t see him… almost as if he had disappeared…. almost as he never existed…. Running to school, Kim found an empty cover book, he stood in disbelief and decided to open the book, in the book, Kim sees that the first page was moving, where he can feel the breeze that’s was coming out of the moving page. The book fell… not a person in sight… the book haven’t even move an inch and Kim… he is gone… almost as if he had disappeared into a new world… a world where story and reality collide with one another.

just something I whipped up in the library, when the book I was holding just wasn't right. And someone very right just wasn't where I wanted them.

"Superpowers? Just a side effect of glimpsing the truth." But each superpower gnawed away at his sanity. Crisis followed crisis: the burgeoning tumor library in the subway tunnels, the "Worm Codex" that wrote the fates of the living.
