Cypher's body tensed at her scent, it filled the mansion, and all he could think of was how nice it made him feel.
The guards bowed at the sight of him but he took slow steps, wondering where she was at the moment.
She was going to stutter and shake and he didn't want to see all of that at the moment. Maybe he should get the necklace and go back to Sebastian so he won't have to see the disdain on her face.
The treasure house has been locked for months and it was due to how busy he was for the last few days, he couldn't check on it. Besides, there was nothing to check besides the gold and precious stones that had been there for ages and would the taken out once in a while for some special occasions.
A maid bowed and walked past him when he called her and she straightened her hair nervously, coming back to now at me.
