As Dante Westwood looked at the family of three in front of him, he thought to himself. Would the boss really bring home a wife?
"Stop daydreaming and get in line. Do you want to still be there, feeding the mosquitoes?" Lucion Goldstein said as he swiped at a mosquito that was sucking on his thigh.
A blood splatter, this was kind of disgusting. Also these mosquito legs; they were so long and scary.
The view of the field was quite nice, the air was also fresh. It was just that there were so many mosquitoes. He wouldn't be exaggerating to say that if he took a big breath in here, he could probably catch bugs in his mouth.
Altair Mo followed Jade Springfield back to his house, where the interior was cleaner than he expected. It was a standard that a neat freak like him could accept.
"Wait here. I'll get you some clothes." Jade Springfield returned to her own room to get Altair Mo a set of her own clothes. The outfit consisted of a baggy blue shirt, the pants were also baggy and had elastic on them.
"Go try them on, it should fit. If not, I could borrow a set from Henry."
Wear someone else's clothes? Altair Mo did not like that.
"The Luyo will do, it should fit." As soon as he said this, Altair Mo went to Jade Springfield's room to change.
Dante Westwood, who was standing by the door, was completely confused. Weren't there a few sets of clothes in the trunk of the car? He could have gone looking for them...
After Jode Springfield finished changing Bun's clothes, he glanced at Dante Westwood, who was standing outside in the hot sun. "Don't you feel hot outside?"
"Okay, I'm fine." Dante Westwood said as he continued to stand guard by the door.
"Come on." Jade Springfield greeted Dante Westwood. "I'll cut some watermelon for you."
Initially, Dante Westwood was indifferent, but as soon as he heard Jade Springfield say that there was watermelon, his mouth immediately went dry.
Lucien Goldstein was the first to reach Jade Springfield's side, where he waited for her to cut the watermelon.
"This vine is fresh," Lucien Goldstein said as he looked at the vine on top of the watermelon.
"Grandma Murray just picked the watermelons this morning." With a slash, Jade Springfield split the watermelon in half. The flesh of the bright red melon was dotted with bits of black seeds. Red watermelon juice thrashed through the rind and collapsed onto the board. Seeing it is so tempting.
As soon as Altair Mo came out after finishing changing, he was greeted with the sight of Lucien Goldstein and Dante Westwood flanking Jade Springfield. His face announced that he was not happy.
When Jade Springfield raised her head to look at Altair Mo, her eyes immediately sparkled. This set of clothing had been ordered from an old tailor when Lauric Murray was at the fair.
The material was of high quality and extremely soft. The only problem was that Lauric Murray's tastes were out of fashion, so the colors she chose were those that were in style in his day. Besides, a veteran tailor didn't care about the design, as long as it was comfortable. So this set of clothing was lan bulky and old-fashioned as could be.
Even so, when Altair Mo put on his clothes, he complimented him. Sure enough, if you look good and have a good figure, you could pull off a look even if you were dressed in a yule sack.
"Mr. Mo, come and eat some watermelon. It's just plucked from the fields. They're so fresh! And so sweet!" The moment Lucien Goldstein opened his mouth to speak, watermelon juice spilled out of the corner of his mouth.
Altair Mo shot a disgusted look at Lucien Goldstein and went to Jade Springfield's side. Jade Springfield Picked up a small metal spoon and scooped out spoonful after spoonful of the other half of the watermelon.
"Okay, come on." Jade Springfield took out a spoon and brought it to Bun's mouth.
Bun opened his little mouth and ate the watermelon. It was lan sweet, her little face blossomed with happiness.
