Jade Springfield's gaze was fixed on Altair Mo, her eyes measuring and observing. The man's face was the epitome of severity, without the slightest hint of humor.
"Don't you think you've skipped a few steps? You and I have only known each other for an hour. Besides, I don't even know who you are."
"My last name is Mo. My name is Altair Mo. Citizen of the Imperial City. 20 years old. Currently single." Altair Mo intentionally emphasized the word 'single'.
'Last name, Mo?
Jade Springfield remembered that when she was fishing yesterday morning, she had taken a phone call. It was about the kidnapping of the youngest son of the Mo family. It just so happened that Bun was kidnapped by some bad men, and this man's surname was Mo...
Could it be that this man was the God of Wealth of Imperial City, the richest and fiercest man who could bring storms and financial marks as he wanted? She would later call and verify the name of the God of wealth,
"Do you understand now? Is your ID card at home?" Altair Mo asked.
Holy! Was this real? Lucien Goldstein jumped off the bench in surprise.
Jude Springfield raised his eyes to look calmly at Altair Mo. "I don't think I agreed to go to the Registry of Civil Affairs with you?"
Rejected?" Lucien Goldstein's eyes almost popped out in surprise.
Altair Mo's status and wealth, plus his otherworldly beauty. He was definitely the most eligible bachelor in the Imperial City! In fact, he was at the top of the charts for many years, a seat that no one else could move!
Unfortunately, all that glittered was not always gold. I never had any sense of attraction to women. Of course, he wasn't attracted to men in that way either.
Lucien Goldstein never thought that he would see this in all the days of his life: Altair Mo actually got engaged to someone. In fact, he couldn't wait to register the marriage with them.
Also...
Altair Mo was rejected! That was the main point!
Altair Mo's hands left his knees, her fingers crossed and resting between his thighs. His expression was even more somber than when he joined that international conference.
"What do I have to do for you to come to the Registry of Civil Affairs with me?"
"I love my freedom," Jade Springfield said.
"Marry him with me. You can continue your freedom," Altair Mo continued negotiating. This was the most difficult and serious negotiation he had ever had in his life. At this point, his hands had begun to silently drip with cold sweat.
Jade Springfield raised an exquisitely groomed eyebrow. Her face was blank as she looked at Altair Mo and she said, "I'll say it clearly then. I have no feelings for you, I'm not interested."
When she heard this, Altair Mo's face didn't change much, but the crossed fingers in front of him had already turned white from the pressure.
Altair Mo remembered the dius of him at school. Whenever a classmate confessed to a girl that she liked him and failed, they drank until they were very intoxicated. Then they would lose all motivation and remain despondent for almost 10 days, or even up to half a month.
He hadn't understood it at the time. Now...he felt terrible.
He hadn't reached that point where he would be lost, but for some reason, he felt his heart clench uncomfortably.
"That's because you don't know me well enough. You'll soon realize that I'm the perfect one for you."
Do you give up easily? That wasn't his style. In fact, he had always moved forward once he had his sights set. Now that he firmly believed that this girl would be his life partner, he would not give up until he achieved his goal.
"You're pretty sure." Jade Springfield stared at the strong and authoritative Altair Mo. She could admit that someone like that was really spectacular, but the fact was that she wasn't interested.
Laurie Murray returned grabbing her grocery basket, only to see that her house was full of people,
"Why are there so many guests?"
What really surprised Laurie Murray was that these three men were better looking than the next.
Were they here to propose?
