The plan Elara made was very easy and yet effective. Since most people won't want to join a guild where the leader could easily be trampled upon by members and other guild, she suggested that only those who could spar against me for five minutes without losing would be recruited and that the recruitment was limited to only ten people per day and she was sure that most of the stronger once wouldn't want to fight me either because they were already in a guild or were scared of fighting me because of my recent fight with prince Saniel in the tournament. That way, we could show the guild members that they had a strong leader and warn the other guilds to not mess with us.
"Senior Elara, the plan is good but," I said before continuing, "we don't still have a base yet and as for the benefits members are supposed to receive, I don't know how to handle that."
"Hmm, about the base, I'll find a way to get you a separate base soon enough," Elara said, "I don't think your guild members would want to share a base with mine however, we'll still need to have joint meetings every now and then."
"And as for the allocation of the resources, I help you handle that temporarily. But, once you start getting enough energy points to fund your guild then, I'll leave the allocation of resources to you," she said.
"Wait, we have to pay with energy points?" I asked with my jaws dropped.
"Yes, and you need to pay at least 100 energy points to a person before they would join your guild. Some would even collect noting less than 200 energy points per month," Elara replied.
"You should have told me about this before I created the guild," I said, "I only get 25 energy points per month, it would take me four months to just pay one person."
"Well, you should have also done some research. Besides, I advised you to create the guild not force you to," she said before continuing, "but, since you're not yet ready to handle a large group, I suggest you only start out with twenty members for now."
"Although you're guild would be lacking behind other guild's with only twenty members, it's still the best option right now and if your guild is ever attacked, my guild will support you," she said.
"Fine then," I said besides, "it's not like I have a choice here. Anyway, I'll be heading to the soul beast mountain zone for a while, I feel like I need to train again."
"You can't just leave anyhow you want, you're a guild member now," Elara said.
"Oh right, I'm not going on my own, I'll be taking Sophie with me as well," I said before continuing, "besides I'm not planning to abandon my guild, I'll leave you in charge of the guild while Sophie and I will go to the soul beast mountain zone to gather resources for the guild."
"You," Elara said with her face twitching, "now, I'm starting to wonder if you agreed to the deal just so you could use me as you pleased."
"It's not like that but if you don't believe me, you're invited. You can follow us too, that way, it'll be a three man team," I said as I teased her.
"I'm not as reckless as you are so just get out and come back alive at least," she said before walking away.
...
"Hey Sophie, get ready 'cause we'll be going for a short vacation," I said as I walked into her room.
"You idiot, don't you know how to knock or don't you know that you know that doors are there for a reason," Sophie shouted angrily.
"Alright I'm sorry," I replied sarcastically, "it's not like I won't get to see it in the future, I just have to be patient."
"Did you come here to just make fun of me or tease me?" Sophie asked as her face turned red, "besides, what if I pick someone else?"
"I know that won't happen," I said, "anyway, we'll be heading to the soul beast mountain zone," I said.
"Why would you want to go there? Do you have a death wish or something?" Sophie aske as she looked at me with a look that was saying are you normal.
Although I knew heading to the soul beast mountain zone was very dangerous especially for people who hadn't reached the Master stage yet, I still decide to go because I could use it as an opportunity to get EXPs and system points also, there was something I wanted to go back to check there.
The last time I went to an area around the soul beast mountain zone, I had sensed a strange energy fluctuation but since I was only an Advance stage cultivator so there was nothing I could do about it but now that I had already broken through to the Expert stage perhaps, I had a higher chance of surviving.
~ "I can't tell you everything for now but, you just have to trust me," I said, "besides, we can use it as an opportunity to gather resources for the guild in advance."
"I'll trust you but," she said before continuing, "but if I end up dying, trust me you won't be able to escape 'cause I'll come back to hunt you."
"I'm serious, we're not going there to die. Just think of it as if we're having a regular walk or maybe practicing our honeymoon," I said with a wink as I quickly ran out of her room."
"Now all I need to do is notify the academy that Sophie and I would be leaving temporarily," I muttered as I headed out to the academy administrative department.
Although students could go outside the academy, they were not allowed to go past 5km outside the academy however, if a student wanted to go past the 5km restriction placed by the academy, they had to request for a leave and make a pledge that the academy was not to be held responsible if anything were to happen to the student.
"I'm here to request for a leave for Sophie Winston and myself," I said to the woman at the desk, "oh, you're the semi Legendary stage cultivator," I said as I took a good look at her face.
"So you do remember me," she said with a smile, "if not for my busy schedule, I would have love to train you myself but if you want, I can assign someone else for that."
"No, there's no need for that," I said immediately.
I was sure that if she was to find out I was a vampire while training me, the chances of her killing me was at 100% and although sensing my vampire bloodline without me transforming should be impossible for even people with higher cultivation, I didn't want to take that risk.
"Is that so?" She asked with no trace of surprise in her voice, "you know many people wouldn't even think twice before accepting my offer besides, do you know what it means for a semi Legendary stage cultivator to train you?"
"I know and I'm truly grateful for that but, I have some other plans of my own," I said before continuing, "so, can I get the leave?"
"Alright boy, I'll give you the leave but as a senior, I'll give you a warning," she said, "if you go to the soul beast mountain zone, don't go near any energy wave or to be precise space distortion. If you do, you'll definitely be killed, the person there is our enemy."
"What do you mean by 'our enemy'?" I asked, "and who are you referring to?"
"your leave has been granted," she said before continuing, "and as for who I'm talking about, you'll find out soon enough."
"Hmm, thanks," I said before heading out.
Even though I didn't understand what she was talking about, I believed she knew something that I didn't know besides, I never told her about the energy waves I felt from the soul beast mountain zone.
"Seems like I'm going to have to be really careful when I'm out there," I muttered.
...
"Hey, you ready?" I asked Sophie.
"Yes but, I don't know why we have to go into the soul beast mountain zone besides, can't we gather resources and hunt soul beasts just outside the academy?"
"We can but, I'm going there for a reason," I said before continuing, "if you are not interested in following me, I have no problem with that. I only thought that bringing you along could help improve your cultivation."
"Fine, just forget it," she said with a sigh, "I'll following you."
~ "So you had something that could benefit the both of you and you decided to hide it away from me," Elara said with a pout as she walked up to us.
"No, it's not what you're thinking," I said, "we're just going out to out to train besides if the three of us were to leave at once, who will take care of the guild?"
"I was just teasing you," she said as she she stuck out her tongue, "but if you do find something that might be useful for me, help me get it ok?"
"I'll definitely do that," I said, "alright Sophie, it's time to head out."
