*Swing*, Lyra door opened as someone walked into the office.
"Mason, you know doors are there so that you can knock before coming in," Lyra said with a sigh, "besides, you are the principal of the school so start acting like one."
"I'm too much in a hurry for that right now," he said with a tense look, "I have important news about Kai, the king is trying to hire him as soon as possible."
"That's too early, I had predicted that the king would try to make Kai work under him but, I expected that to be in about five years or so," Lyra said, "so why would he try to hire him on a whim?" Lyra asked.
"*Sighs*, the king has actually been keeping an eye on Kai progress long before he even joined the academy," he said with a sigh, "actually, he was waiting for Kai to become a Master stage cultivator before making a move but, after what happened during the tournament, he wants to poach him now since he wouldn't want any of the other kingdoms to get him."
