"Wait, you're Melia's sister?" I asked with my jaws dropped, "now that's surprising."
Even though I didn't have a deep relation with Melia, I still knew a lot about her due to the amount of times we interacted at the hunter's guild but despite that, she had never disclosed anything about her family and at one point I believed she was a commoner like me.
"Yes, we're blood sisters' I shouldn't be telling you this but, I believe I should be able to trust you with my secrets since we're friends ," she muttered before continuing, "Melia would have been dismissed from the family because of her cultivation however, some of the elders in the family refused the idea and suggested that she should be placed in charge of the minor family affairs since she had the brains for tasks like that."
