I woke up in a haze.
My eyes felt heavy as I blinked slowly. My body was just as heavy, glued to the familiar comfortable bed beneath me, so I didn't move.
I only moved my eyes, studying the space I was in. It was my room back at Danté's mansion.
And at my side was Nick, lying on his arms as he was fast asleep. His blue hair hung in his face, and a few locks moved as he breathed.
His eyebrows formed a tense line on his forehead, and I moved my left hand to touch it, hoping to make it relax.
I softly pressed the spot between his eyebrows.
Nick groaned and then sighed, still fast asleep. The tense line on his forehead was gone.
I chuckled. How cute. He slept like a rock, looking peaceful as a baby. I wondered why he was so extremely tired.
I moved some hair out of his face, because it was going to bother him sooner or later, and then it'll wake him. And seeing him look like that while sleeping - it would be a sin to wake him.
