As the night was beginning, so was the long-awaited girls' night. In front of Mode 1986, Ah Reum and So Hee embarked on a mission to persuade Ha Neul to join them for their night of fun.
"Ha Neul, you're really not coming with us? Now that I've almost finished my degree I can have some fun. Let's go to girls' night Woo-hoo." Shouted Ah Reum excitedly.
Ha Neul wasn't excited at all.
"Yeah, it's been a while since we've done that, and we've got a lot of catching up to do hihi." So Hee with a mischievous smile.
"Me? No!" Ha Neul simply leaves.
The girls with long face.
"She's really gone? I can't believe it lol" So Hee laughed.
"Yeah, she's gone. Come on, after all, we're the ones who make the fun!" They burst into laughter at this amusing situation and headed to catch the bus.
The bus passes them "Oh, it's our bus!" They shout out and ran wildly towards the bus.
"We did it, we did it." Said So Hee breathlessly.
Ah Reum, now safely on the bus, suddenly burst into uncontrollable laughter. She just can't stop.
"Hey, you nut, what's so funny?" So Hee asked in confusion, not understanding Ah Reum's laughter at all.
"Okay, okay, I'll stop," Ah Reum said between fits of laughter, attempting to compose herself.
"Did they hit you on the head with a rolling pin?" So Hee was embarrassed.
Despite her best efforts to regain her composure, Ah Reum's laughter continued, leaving her with red face and a poker-like expression.
"Are you sure it's safe for me to go to your house? lol" So Hee mocked laugh.
"I've stopped laughing, lol! Lately, some unusual things have been happening to me on the bus. I just remembered one of them, hehe. Your friend just turned into a regular person again." Ah Reum explained, now with just a small embarrassed smile on his face.
Ah Reum remembered the unusual and amusing situation when she was on the bus with Jin Young. She just pulled him all the way in and fumbled in front of him.
The friends quickly arrived at the in Ah Reum's warm and inviting hanok, the air was filled with the tantalizing aroma of spices as the girls gathered in the kitchen to chat while they cooked.
Today's culinary masterpiece would be none other than Ah Reum's special Tteokbokki recipe, generously adorned with loooooots and loooooots of cheese, So Hee's favorite dish.
"I'm absolutely excited!" So Hee's eyes sparkled with excitement.
"What's got you so excited? Was it the onion? lol" Ah Reum played with a certain curiosity on his face.
So Hee beamed, "It's the photoshoot. Watching it unfold before my own eyes will be an experience like no other, especially since my Jin is one of the models."
"Hmmmm, my Jin? They must really adore him..." Ah Reum thought and her words slipping out inadvertently.
"But you see Jin Young every day," she chuckled, her voice laced with amusement.
"Wait..." So Hee paused.
Ah Reum quickly interrupted, her own nervous excitement evident as she said: "Aaaah, but witnessing the behind-the-scenes action and everything will be an entirely new level of cool, won't it..."
Suddenly So Hee found herself submerged in new thoughts, not noticing Ah Reun's obvious nervousness when talking about Jin Young.
With a distant expression, she asked: "Do you think there might be something happening with Ha Neul? She never opens up about anything."
"No!" Ah Reum responded in a laid-back manner.
"She's always been quite independent...well, there's also the possibility that she doesn't like us...." she added, chuckling.
"Do you remember how funny it was when we went karaoke for Ha Neul's birthday? lol It was so much fun, we certainly weren't born for music!
I think she might've been traumatized lmao. Maybe next time she'll join us." Ah Reum concluded with laughter, remembering that memorable day.
The small kitchen was filled with the spicy, savory aroma that the gochujang added to the sauce, signaling that it was ready.
"Wow, should I consider taking a few cooking classes too? How can your food be better than my mother's?
If this counts towards your flight attendant resume, consider yourself hired, and you can even plan your wedding, hihi!" So Hee exclaimed, impressed.
As we delve deeper into Ah Reum's journey, we discover the many skills she is honing to become a top flight attendant.
Among these skills is her prowess in the culinary arts, which extends to a wide variety of international cuisines, including her own.
Becoming a first-class flight attendant requires a high level of culinary knowledge.
In addition to the fundamental prerequisites, a first-class stewardess must possess extensive knowledge of the entire menu, from delicious dishes to elaborate drinks, meticulous cutting and preparation techniques, and much more.
This knowledge is essential in order to meet the high quality standards expected within first-class service.
So Hee is consumed by curiosity and is determined not to let this opportunity slip through her fingers. Taking her cue from the wedding, she activates her investigative mode, ready to uncover the truth.
"I've been meeting someone lately; my mother set me up on a blind date. I think I might actually like him... who knows, I might even end up getting married.
And you, Ah Reum, any special someone in your life?" So Hee asked, her face displaying a comical expression, even though she was struggling to maintain a serious demeanor.
"Me?" Ah Reum began to laugh, realizing she'd inadvertently given herself away. "I don't know," she responded mysteriously.
So Hee couldn't contain her curiosity and playfully snapped, "Oh no, you can't do that to your friend; spill the beans now, lol." She chuckled with a hint of disbelief. "It's Jin, isn't it? There's no point in denying it; I know it's him," she continued to tease.
Ah Reum maintained the air of mystery, saying, "Come closer, I'll tell you."
So Hee leaned in, and Ah Reum added, "It's a secret, lol," clearly enjoying the suspense she was creating for So Hee.
Amidst all the laughter and fun, Ah Reum declared, "Okay, since we're too tired to go to karaoke right now, we'll bring karaoke to us.
That's it! I'm going to sing a song, and then you can find out if I like someone or not, hihi!" As she made this bold announcement, Ah Reum's face turned a shade of red, a mix of embarrassment and audacity.
"A song?" Laughter fills the room.
It soon becomes clear that there's one thing Ah Reum isn't very good at: singing. Someone should save So Hee's ears, lol.
Ah Reum enthusiastically starts singing Enhypen's "TFW", and So Hee can't resist joining in. The two friends perform a fun karaoke duet.
There's no denying it! Ah Reum is in love! TFW's vibe is so sweet that it portrays exactly what Ah Reum is feeling.
An intense feeling that reveals the desire to be with the one you love and the whirlwind of feelings that accompany that love. That feeling when...
"You've heard it more than 10 times, lol. Won't you stop? lmao," jokes So Hee.
"You wanted to know if I was in love, lmao," replies Ah Reum jokingly.
She was overwhelmed by beautiful feelings, her mind traveling with each stanza.
"Ooooh oohhh," she continued singing.
So Hee, with a more serious tone, asked: "Do you like him that much?"
Ah Reum nods yes, with an expression that says: "I'm madly in love with him."
So Hee shouts with joy. "Who knew I'd live to see Moon Ah Reum fall in love?
We really had a lot to talk about! Too bad I have to leave early hehe!" Said So Hee, who had just received a message.
"But we haven't even done our nails yet..." Ah Reum points to the array of nail accessories she has prepared.
"Sorry, lol, I need to see my possible fiancé," So Hee joked as she prepared to leave.
So Hee bids her farewell and leaves. However, not even a minute had passed since she departed when someone knocked on the gate.
"Did she forget something?" Ah Reum wondered aloud and then opened the gate.
"You..." She displayed a slightly surprised expression.
