"Right!" He quickly grabs his shoulder. Using his other hand to cover his mouth to prevent a scream.
He nearly forgot that his shoulder was attacked, and now bleeding. "It hurts!" He had never felt such a pain before, it really shows the difference of nature between the two worlds.
"Just a scratch and you're already on the ground. Amateur." The disappointment in that person's eyes were clear. Jun's current performance was so lower-than-average that the unknown had to force them selves to not leave the room.
Despite looking like a child, their behavior clearly wasn't like one. "Do I really have to deal with this guy?" Looking away, talking to the air.
No noise was made and yet a response from that person was still given. There was also none of the technology such as Jun's earbud that had broke recently with that person. Was it telepathy? Knowing that the person in front of him may the the person in charge of making the clones, there was a chance they are able to communicate with them by telepathy.
Yet it couldn't be, since they seem to be taking orders by another.
"Should I kill him?"
The person asked clearly without any hesitation. Their guard is down and obviously underestimating Jun, yet they're also confused in why those 3 people (Yhur, Mac, and Riku) also allowed him to be involved.
There was only one explanation, "He might be important."
"Wha—", Their eye widened as they moved their head instinctively. The nearby wall suddenly had an obviously large crack "A spear?" A crack couldn't be made by an average amount of force as well, it couldn't be?
The stranger received a hard kick, making their body move back. Without falling, they took out their sword in last-minute preparation.
An arm took the spear out from the cracks of the wall, it was Jun. His body still seemingly trembling as he was very much not used to being casually slashed by a sword. His left hand compressing the shoulder while the other held the spear. He was obviously scared, his legs couldn't even move. But after hearing their one-sidef conversation, his body doesn't want to back down like a coward.
A stance similar to Yhur's, he had no experience wielding an actual weapon in an actual life and death situation. Yet at the same time, it was as if he had already memorised the movements after seeing it in action twice.
"He's still moving hu-" "I WILL FIGHT!" he shouted. "I WILL, OR ELSE RIKU WOULD UNDERESTIMATE ME AGAIN." he grabbed his shoulder in pain, "OR ELSE I WOULDN'T BE TRUSTED WITH THESE SITUATIONS AGAIN." He holds the spear's blade to point towards the stranger's direction.
"AND SO THAT I CAN ESCAPE TO THIS WORLD FROM THE ENDLESS BORE AND FEAR IN MY LIFE." he sprints almost immediately towards the stranger, aiming their shoulder as well.
"Well well look who finally got their moment huh." The stranger blocked using the sword they had unsheathe just previously. "It seems that this moment wouldn't be as dull as I expected." Their speed was truly fast despite their short height. Making it very brief just to dodge and block their attacks, of course, in a disadvantage as Jun's shoulder was hurt.
"I don't know this guy's advantage at all since he wasn't in one of the data given to me." The stranger though to himself. Usually he would observe people whether it was an average person or even someone with a higher status like Riku to analyze their movements. Therefore making clones out of them.
Yet Jun, he was completely unknown. Without any data from the higher ups nor even encountered him from any where. Well, who cares about that.
All there was needed was to remove any obstacle in his way, their goal at the start was to trap people to their despair unable to get out, and therefore slain by their own clones. Though, evident from people who have survived must've been the exemption if their clones weren't even made from the start.
But their focus now is the fight, it should be an easy one at tha— "Ugh!" A swift attack aiming their head as if to kill them immediately.
"So this guy's no rookie?" The stranger held on to their sword and started defending and quickly attacking as well.
The battle was all dodges and failed attacks and blocks. It was a completely even duel between the two. Yet, just as stated before, Jun was overall in a huge disadvantage as he was still very unused to such big scars in his body, he was only taught to do martial arts to defend himself.
Now is different, "I need more power! More!" Jun managed to strike the stranger's weapon flying.
All the time, it only seemed like the stranger was only forbidding him from approaching the said door the whole time. Distancing him from the door, could it be the exit? If so, all he had to do was only reach for the door right? The slight chance to make himself closer to the door now that the stranger is distracted!
"Eugh!" He jumps back immediately.
