Her eyes, black with absolutely no soul. Just enough to even make Yhur break a sweat somehow. "A fight?" Riku quickly prepared. "No, wait." And then stopped by Yhur once again.
Fixing the surface of her skirt, she sighs in disappointment. "We've been caught," as the little girl grabs the collar of her possible ally. The building starts shaking once again in her command. She must have seen it as her little playful dollhouse to mess with people.
Creating a wall that separates them from Yhur and the others, creating a chance to flee. "Ah wait! Shoot, they escaped!" Riku reached out his hand just before the wall was created.
"What do you feel now Einstein? Having your question, the sole reason for your appearance here unanswered AND letting the culprit escape?" Riku turned his head towards Yhur, obviously pissed. "Ah but I've managed to get the most important information that I've been looking for though." A smirk appeared on his face. The same time the building is starting to fade particle by particle.
The case is closed even though the culprit escaped. But now they have gathered more information about the dangers that will soon to come again.
The snow is thick and the wind is strong. It would be a better time than later to return rather than freezing to death, Riku offered his cloak to cover Jun.
It was time to head back to the city, it is not too far away anyways. "You've never told me you were a Guard." A question that first pops up in Jun's mind. Walking in front, Yhur slowed down his steps, "That..."
"We never told you that?" A clueless face appeared instead. "YOU'VE NEVER TOLD ME THAT???" a small hint of ferocity took over him for a split second. To think that such an important information wasn't even told to him yet despite the Guards topic is quite general. "Then you're telling me Mac is the Vice-Guard?!" Jun points. Only for a chuckling nod from Mac Himself. "This is so unfair!!"

Back in the city, they've reserved rooms to stay in before leaving. Riku was the Vice-Guard of the city so it was not unexpected for him to take his leave earlier as a busy person.
Yhur was stuck on the desk, writing the information and research from previous to even recent researches. His habit of writing had became bad enough for him to have the need to wear glasses whenever he needs to read or write.
This is when Mac have came out the bathroom after a shower. Honestly, Mac was quite curious about what Yhur was researching about the whole time. And this 'Inner Consciousness' thing hasn't escaped from his mind. "Say, as an astronomer, you would usually research about these astronomy kinda stuff. Yet these days, you seem to be interested in something else. It's not usual for you to suddenly take care of matters outside of Pierus." Mac lowered his head above Yhur's.
"It's too soon to say." A short answer. As if keeping something away instead. Scratching his head, Mac felt tired of Yhur keeping things to himself. "Too soon? More like it's too late."
Mac slid his right hand down to stop Yhur from writing. Gently grabbing his hand, "It's already been too late, ever since that man appeared to be targeting you after the village." Yhur's movements paused for seconds.

Yhur couldn't respond, rather frozen in place. "That..." He muttered softly. Not long after, he instantly stood up from his seat, resulting in Mac reflexively taking his grip off Yhur's wrist.
"That's enough." In a furious-like tone, Yhur looked away and walked towards the door. Until he was once again stopped by having his wrist grabbed by Mac. In a more expressive tone, "I'm asking because if this continues without us knowing what's going on, your safety could be even more uncertai—" "Let go." Yhur demanded. "I'm going to see Jun."
Shocked, Mac slowly let go. Walking out the door and slamming it in front of Mac's face, Yhur's footsteps started to fade away. "Jeez, what did you see to change so much ever since that day." Mac slapped his face with both hands.
