Walking and walking through the halls, the rooms are seperated after all. But close enough to arrive with just a couple of necessary steps. Arriving in front of the door, Yhur quickly pinching his cheeks. "It's not the time to act like this." He thought to himself, while trying to display his usual behavior.
Knocking, he politely excused himself in. In the room was only Jun, who is struggling to fix himself up. "Ah Yhur! Bad timing haha.." Multiple loose bandages from the inexperienced left hand. Jun have never gotten such a wound, knowing that his career would probably not be altered if it not for the first interaction.
"I'll help." Offered as he walks towards the bed. "Really? That'll be great!" Jun looked like that one child that would get hurt yet would smile as if the wound wasn't even there.
Patching the wounds, Yhur noticed how stiff Jun's body was. "Do you exercise?" He asked out of the blue. "Exercise? Occasionally perhaps." Jun's equipments were heavy and yet he had to carry it to other levels of his university building. Other than architecture, he also occasionally paints whenever he has the time. Which would explain the amount of items he has to carry and also why his body would still be fit despite not exercising.
"Ow!" Jun shrieked. "Then why don't I get muscles even after exercising." Jun stares with a dead look in his eyes, exerting even more force in pulling the bandages. "Ow ow ow stop that! How am I supposed to know??"
It was quiet again. Yet somehow, Yhur decided to break the silence for once in a while, "Hey, why would you come back so early? Weren't you the one that have been complaining to go back ever since?" He asked, rolling the bandages around Jun's chest.
"Huh? Oh right." Jun seemed to be slaving out for a second. He still answered, "Maybe because I'm bored?" A playful smile appeared on his face.
"... Because you were bored?" Yhur looked up, dumbfounded. "Well uhm, how do I say this.. Well of course all these weird powers and strange creatures did shock me at first, mostly the fact that other worlds really do exist. But at the same time, it really was an experience that made me feel excitement after a long time!" He let's out a happy smile while his eyes calmed down. "Wouldn't you feel... That this is all just so exciting?" He laughed.
Yet, Yhur's eyes widened.
.
"Yhur Yhur! When we grow up, let's join Pierus' Guard Unit!"
"The Guard Unit? Wouldn't that be really dangerous?"
"Hmm that is true.. But seeing the world and all these fascinating and unexpected life forms, wouldn't you think that this is all just so exciting?"
.
Yhur fell quiet, as if he's experiencing some sort of deja vu. Quickly noticing the change of atmosphere, Jun then looks at Yhur, "What's wrong Yhur? Are you alright?" He tried to reach out with his unharmed hand to Yhur.
"Do you really think risking our lives everyday would be fun?" Yhur once again exerted even more force. "OW OW OW WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS??" In a flash, the bandages were already wrapped nice and neatly. Standing up, "You go and rest now and I'll fix your jacket. We'll be going tomorrow." He grabbed the torn jacket and left the room.
Staring at the door, Jun's face was simply blank. "Was that a smile?" He thought and smiled.
The next day came with a view of piles of snow outside the window. Heck, it's even 10x snowier than any place in Sapporo. And of course, it wasll finally time for them to get going.
"We're leaving already?" Jun arrives just in time for hotel breakfast. Yhur that had just finished his plate of food, wiping the small stains ok his face responded, "We're quite busy if you didn't know. As a Guard, I have some duties left undone in Pierus." He fixed his hair. "But we haven't even walked around Euthyia! This place is majestic!" Jun pointed out the large window beside them. It really was beautiful though.
Coincidentally, Riku was also there just to meet Jun. Yet he also insisted on taking them out to show them around, of course it was mostly because of Jun's presense himself.
Mac, who was sitting in the same table as Yhur, still tried to say that they would leave that day. Jun who basically does not want to be stuck in his house until the campus was finally opened again, was still trying to convince them. "And we haven't even gotten any souvenirs!" Jun complained. Which seemed to activate a switch inside of Yhur's brain.
"Souvenirs?" He looked towards Jun and Riku with sparkling eyes. Out of habit, Yhur stared at Mac without noticing the sparkles in his eyes. Seeming to hint something very obvious.
It has been a while since they actually went to Euthyia, and of course Mac was convinced to give in, "Well, I guess we still have some time before going back to work don't we?" He giggled as he drinks the tea from his cup. This ended up resulting in a very happy expression from the Guard as well as Jun.
"I'm buying you a new sketchbook." Yhur said as he his the grin that was stuck on his face. "Really?!"
