"Eh?" Mac blurts out from the very unexpected result. Yhur's eyes widened as he approaches the said door. Knocking it, he says, "What's this? It may be some really high quality wood yet not a single scratch after such brute force?" A smile as if he was fascinated.
The door did not back down, did not even move an inch. If it was any other door, whether it was a wooden door or even a 10 inch metal door, there is no doubt that Mac has the strength to kick down the said two doors.
"Aha..." Jun anxiously chuckled, "Does that mean that we're stuck?" Everyone, yet again, stood still for a couple of long seconds.
Immediately grabbing out the sword covered by his cloak, Riku started recklessly stabbing the door, "GEEZ I'VE TOLD YOU WE SHOULDN'T HAVE CAME HETE NOW WE'RE LITERALLY STUCK." the numerous attempts in trying to break down the door have been failures. It was almost too suspicious in how the suspect's we're even able to escape.
"Couldn't you use the Guard Space?" Mac asked Yhur.
Shaking his head, he also turned towards the hallway in the middle just before answering, "The Guard Space could only be used for important discussions or emergencies. Besides, if we wanted to go back through the Guard Space in Euthyia, the distance between the city and the door will be far too large." Walking towards the seemingly endless hallway. The end seemed like nothing but it was their only way out.
Yhur was able to use the skill of Leo's, "Glow", to give light in the dark space. "We will have to investigate this case even further for a larger possibility to escape." He lead the way.
It was obvious that Riku was pissed.
.
It hasn't been that long since they were trapped in the building. Though the endless hallway made it seem like they have been walking for forever. Because of such dark lighting and bare minimum of light from Yhur's skill (to not use too much energy), the atmosphere became that of a haunted house.
"When will this hallway end, this feels like forever." Riku whined, staying close to Jun as much as possible. He didn't really approve for Jun to be accompanied by the two other people, Mac and Yhur. Obviously, especially Yhur.
The sound of small steps were also heard coming from the broken cabinets in the hallway. Managing to startle them, Yhur said, "It's probably just a rat."
Saying it as if he would be brave enough to even get rid of the rat itself. Seriously the type of person who would only be all talk yet no action in these types of situations. Who usually would depend on another person, perhaps Mac, to get rid of the said rat. Yet that day, there seems to be a series of the unexpected.
It was a disgustingly large and eye-soaring brown revolting cockroach.
"I-i-i-i-it's m-merely just a cockroach! Nothing w-weird about it in a building like this Mac go kill it!" Yhur told, the same time he also went behind Mac to hide from the sickening creature.
Of course the cockroach was much smaller than them, but it doesn't ignore the fact that it's somehow bigger than your average cockroach. It looked so disgusting that even those that usually takes care of pests and termites like Mac are decently disgusted as well.
Though, pinching the smaller man's cheeks, Mac told, "To think that you try to be all high and mighty yet you can't deal with a single cockroach." Mac then steadily grabbed a piece of wood sitting alone on the sides of the hallway. Much like Yhur, both Jun and Riku somehow managed to hide behind Mac as well.
"Why you two?" Yhur said with a face as if indirectly saying 'erm what the hell'. "Well personally it wouldn't be much of a problem as long as it doesn't fl-"
The cockroach started to clap it's wings and slowly fly towards their direction. As well as silencing the sentence Riku was just about to say.
"Haha.." Riku, with a face so blank while staring. Looking behind himself, Mac sighed, "All of you are just cowards." And quickly picked up the three of them, two in the right and one (Yhur) in the left. "Flying termites are a pain to aim so let's just ho now."
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" The screaming of the three other people echoed through every corner and sides of the buildings. Knowing that the cockroach somehow managed to still catch up to their speed.
Yhur was indeed very close to tears.
