"How do you know so much about these things anyways?" Jun asked in curiosity. It seems that Mac's life is quite a mystery once you think about it. His personality and knowledge about things are more unexpected.
Mac chuckles and answered in simplicity, "It's my family's work. "
.
Just as they were prepared to search for the smaller man, Yhur, a certain something or someone had poked their backs. Resulting in the both of them turning their heads behind.
"What do you mean searching for 'small buddy Yhur'?" Eyes that lit up like fire in the dark. A massively angered aura appeared out of nowhere coming from Yhur. "Not me, just Mac." Jun backed away while pointing to the other man beside him. "I see.." "What do you mean by that Jun."
.
"Alright let's get going both of you!" Jun walked in front. "You two said that you were going somewhere right?" He looks back at the two men who just had a little cat fight in the middle of the sidewalk.
"Yeah yeah, we need to go to the train station." Yhur told with a red mark on his face while pinching Mac's arm. "Should we get snacks first-hand? We might get hungry on the ride." Mac continued the conversation with bruises on his arms while he holds Yhur's head.
Are fights like thiese normal on a daily basis for them despite Mac's older brother energy and Yhur's cool-headed vibe? This world and it's own people and citizens really are different.
Knowing that the train would leave in the next 30 minutes, it wasn't too late to book a ticket for the ride. Though it did seem quite bothersome of him to just join in someone's business just for the reason of 'wanting to', Jun thought.
Barely knowing each other and had only talked when things are important. In the first place, why did they try to search for people like him? Why was he needed and why was he chosen specifically? Thinking about it, it did boost a decent amount of confidence in Jun's small ego.
"Is that you new weapon?" Yhur asked, sitting beside Jun. "Ah yes!" Jun showed it to Yhur. It looks almost too expensive for a barely holding on scholar student to even afford.
Guessing, Yhur assumed, "Something must've happened." "E-eh? How did you know?" Jun stuttered, reflexively holding his brand new spear harder. Not realising how obvious the fact and hints really were. His hand was trembling unconsciously.
"Mac should have some bandages in his bag." Yhur laid back.
There was plenty of time before hopping on the train, which led to Mac going off to the nearby shops. It was obvious that he probably has a sweet tooth.
"Y-yeah, I'll just wait here.." His hand started trembling more, allowing Yhur to quickly notice. "You should wash the blood off...wait, are you perhaps.." The staring competition have gotten way more heated than it first started. The sweating that has dropped from Jin's chin and down to the ground.
Jun is afraid of blood.
A judgemental stare could be felt just centimeters away. Even without looking at a certain direction, it is known that the stare will not easily go away. "Why didn't you tell me in the first place?" Yhur, disappointedly crossed his arms.
"W-well if I told, then I wouldn't be granted to be here." Looking at Yhur with an unsure look.
"You're correct, I wouldn't." The stare had gotten incredibly powerful, it felt nearly impossible to even speak in a tone seen as normal.
"Close yours eyes." Yhur told. "Eh?" A confused Jun looked back. "Are you going to punch me after closing my eyes or something?" He deliberately covered his stomach.
"Do you think I'm that sort of person?" Yhur forcefully placed his palm to cover Jun's eyes. A panicking reaction was first resulted for a while yet nothing was felt, at all. Instead it felt as if the aching and stinging sensation from the surface of his hand started to slowly disappear.
Light steadily appears once the hand was removed from his eye sight. Looking at his hand, the scar from previous had mysteriously disappeared, well not exactly disappear as the scar was still visible. It was simply healed with no blood remaining on it's surface.
"Huh? What? How?" Jun inspected the scar closer. It was true, the injury did magically heal.
But it was Yhur he's talking with, he never fails to surprise. "Well I'm not going to wait for a long time if you're just going to tremble like a child." Yhur pinched Jun's face, leading to a little noise.
"Speaking about time.." Jun rubbed his cheek, "Isn't it about time for the train's arrival?" He turned at the clock placed near their seats.
"Where'd Mac gone to?" Jun started worrying as the sound of screeches of metal on the tracks coming closer by each individual second. "Beats me." Yhur casually shook off, joking that they should just leave him.
It would take roughly 4 to 5 hours if Mac managed to actually run all the way from the station to their destination. "So let's just leave him be ya kno- AUGH!" a cookie was stuffed in and forcefully shut Yhur's sentence. "You were saying?" It was indeed Mac with his unusually surprising sadistic smile.
