"I'm sorry for scaring you." Derrick apologized.
"What games were you playing back there? Where you trying to get me caught?" Kathy hollered.
"I'm... really... *cough*" Derrick coughed out blood as he tried to speak.
"Just forget about the apology and explain to me what happened to you."
"We carried out the plan as instructed. I... I took her to the alley. We... we... knocked her out and...and was about abd... abducting her... *cough*" Derrick coughed out more blood.
"Just finish with your statement already, you're staining everywhere with blood ." Kathy sounded disgusted as she rolled down the windows to have a breath of fresh air.
"There... there was this guy who... attacked us. The rest are all dead. I managed to esc... escape. *cough.*"
The more he talked, the more blood he coughed out.
"Did you see the face of the person who attacked you? Where's the girl now?" Katy demanded like her life depended on the answers to her question.
No, it... it... was really dark. As for... for the girl... I don't know... She might... be with... our... attacker. Ple... please take me to... the... the hospital." Derrick pleaded as he coughed even louder.
Katy looked at him in disgust. "You couldn't even accomplish this simple task. You don't deserve to live." She scoffed as she kicked him out of the car.
He fell on the ground with a loud thud. Katy drove off, leaving him on the cold streets to die slowly.
"If you want something done right, I guess you have to do it yourself." She sighed as she drove back to the Manor.
"Fuck you Elena Morgan. Fuck you and your damned saviour. He might have foiled my plans this time, but I promise you, he won't do so next time, cause I'll definitely have the heads of the both of you. No one messes with me. No one."
Elena groaned in pain, rolling on the bed. She felt a sharp pain in her head. She sat up on the bed.
Beads of sweat formed on her forehead, probably because of the fact that she had trouble sleeping, or cause the room she was in had no cooling system.
She held her head with both hands, waiting for the pain to subside.
Elena turned round, cross-examining the room she was in. It felt nothing like her room at her father's Manor.
The room seemed to be small, since the bed she sat on was not even as big as her couch.
"Where am I? What kind of a place is this?" She said out loud in disgust. She has always been the type of girl that fancies beautiful huge places with class.
With the thought of how small the room could be, she couldn't help but feel irritated.
She had no bright view of her surrounding as the place was completely dark, so she sat at a spot on the small bed.
"What happened to me? How did I get here?" She asked herself again as the events that happened hours ago came rushing through her mind.
She held her head tightly due to the much pain she felt while trying to remember.
"I was drunk. We partied all night, but that doesn't explain how I got here." She became frustrated.
The only thing she could remember was her having fun with her friends and nothing more.
"You're awake." She heard a voice in the dark room. She flinched in fright. She had no idea who it was or even where she was.
The stranger turned on the lights. Elena was in awe at the sight of the young man standing at the door post.
'For a kidnapper, he looks really hot.' She thought as she stared shamelessly at him.
He looked really gorgeous. If not for his physical appearance, she would have mistaken him for an angel or a demigod.
His brown hair was damp, and roughly scattered which made him to look seductive.
His emerald green eyes were mesmerizing. He wore a shirt that hugged his body, showing off his biceps.
Elena drooled at the sight of the beauty demigod. 'Are all kidnappers this good looking?' She thought to herself as she could not get her eyes off the beautiful creature that stood few feets away from her.
Liam stood at the door post with a cup of green tea in his hand. He watched the beautiful lady who sat on the bed staring at him like he was an oven fresh pie.
He couldn't help but chuckle at her shameless behavior. "It's not good to stare." He said with an innocent smile.
Only then did Elena come back to reality. She became alert all of a sudden as Liam approached her.
"Stay away from me. I know Kung Fu." She said boldly whereas she was scared beyond imagination.
Liam's laughter echoed in the room. 'Even his laugh sounds seductive.' Elena thought inwardly.
"Just a minute ago, you were busy staring shamelessly at me like I was a pie brought out of the oven. Now you know Kung Fu?" Liam said, standing few meters away from the bed.
"I... I wasn't staring." Elena said in an inaudible tone.
"What's that? I didn't quite hear you." Liam chuckled.
"Here, take this. It will help with the headache." He handed her the cup of green tea. He was now only an arm length away from her.
"What's in it?" She said staring at the cup of tea in a disdainful manner.
"Just take it." Liam said calmly. "How do I know you are not trying to poison me?" She refuted.
"If I wanted you dead, you would have been dead a long time ago. Now take it, my hand's aching me." Liam said in a serene tone once more.
He didn't want to scare her so he tried his best to remain calm.
"Then maybe, you're trying to drug me so you can probably have sex with me once the drug kicks in." Elena argued once more.
"Have sex with you?" Liam scoffed. "You've been out for close to 4 hours, so if I wanted to take advantage of you, I would have done so a long time ago.
Why am I even stressing myself cause of you? If you don't want to take it, then fine." Liam said as he dropped the cup on the bed side table before walking to seat at the only chair in the room.
