At the Rock Casino, Daniel sat down in a big dimly lit room found at the top floor of the building.
Sitting across the table in the middle of the room, is an elderly man around his 80's.
The room was empty, and only Daniel, the elderly man and his two body guards who stood still behind him, were present.
Daniel had long instructed his secretary to wait for him in the car.
They both stared at each other in silence for 10 minutes straight, both uttering zero words.
The silence that filled the room was so tensed, you could hear a pin drop. Minutes felt like hours, but yet none of them said a word.
"Ehem." The elderly man finally broke the silence as he cleared his throat.
"Daniel, I know you obviously did not come here to challenge me to a staring contest, so just stop with all these nonsense attitudes, and go straight to the point." The old man said, obviously tired of sitting down and staring at Daniel who had not said anything since he came out of the elevator door.
"You lack patience, Gerald. And that my friend, is your greatest weakness. You always want things to be done instantly which I fear will bring your downfall one day." Daniel said as he picked up the glass of red wine and examined it before taking a sip. He swirled the cup, smiling devilishly.
"Enough with the lectures and let me bother about my lack of patience. Can you just go straight to the point and tell me why you're here?" Gerald was fuming in his anger.
'How dare this little kid talk so rudely to me?' he queried in his mind but his facial expression was void of any emotions.
Daniel's laughter echoed in the large room. "Don't tell me you're starting to get angry old man. Have you forgotten so soon that you are indebted to me, huh?
Have you also forgotten that you are at my mercy? Watch the tone you use in talking to me, else I'll make you regret it."
Daniel looked really deadly which made the body guards present to wonder what kind of a man he really was.
"I haven't forgotten that I'm indebted to you, and I promise to pay you back all I owe." Gerald was no longer boiling in anger.
He mellowed down while talking to Daniel for fear of making him more angry than the way he already was.
He has seen what Daniel was capable of, and would advice any reasonable person to stay away from Daniel's bad side.
"Really now. You think you can ever be able to repay me what you owe? Don't forget so soon what exactly it was that I did for you.
Even in death, you will still be indebted to me unless I decide to give you your freedom." Daniel said through gritted teeth, making sure his words sank into Gerald's brain.
"Now that that's settled. I have a simple task for you, which i believe wont be too hard for a man of your caliber."
"CRUMBLE... MORGAN... EMPIRE." Daniel stressed each word of his sentence, which gave him a killer vibe.
Gerald eyes widened in shock on hearing Daniel's words. It was obvious Daniel did not understand what 'simple' meant, cause what he was asking of Gerald was an extremely heavy task.
"Wha... what did you just say?" Gerald couldn't believe his ears. What was he hearing right now?
Why would Daniel make such rash decision, and why now?
"Are you questioning me old man? You heard me right, I want Morgan Empire to be no more in 2 weeks time. Let's just say... I want it to become permanently extinct." Daniel grinned like a 5 year old who just won a big and shiny trophy.
Gerald shook his head repeatedly. "I'm... I'm really sorry, but... but... I can't do as you've requested." Gerald looked really shameful right now as he had his head bowing low for someone of Daniel's age.
In the blink of an eye, Daniel who was seating leisurely on the other end of the round table, was now standing above Gerald, staring coldly at him.
"What did you just say to me?" He was getting angrier by the minute.
"I... I... can't do it. You've already secured a contract with them, so I see no need..." Daniel's hands were already wrapped round Gerald's throat, slowly choking him.
Gerald was now floating in the air as Daniel held him up by the neck. He stared directly into his eyes with murderous intent as he slowly tightened his grip on Gerald's neck.
"Ther... there's... no... need... to be... this brutal... *cough*" Gerald was slowly running out of air.
"Let me bother about my brutality. All you have to do is agree to do as I have asked and maybe I'll spare your pathetic and worthless life." Daniel smiled mischievously.
"I can't continue being second best to the damned Morgans and a stupid contract won't help me be on top. So, what other way to deal with the issue other than destroying their company entirely." Daniel kept talking to himself out loud, smiling widely. "Then... why... why... do... I... have... to... do it" Gerald managed to say.
"You don't expect me to tarnish my name now, do you?" Daniel was now smiling innocently like a saint.
"Fine... I'll... do it" Gerald said almost loosing consciousness.
"Good boy." Daniel laughed maniacally. *bang* Gerald's body was sent flying across the room, crashing through the small bar at the corner.
"Never say no to me ever again." Daniel said coldly. The guards dare not move to Gerald's position to take him to the hospital.
They were way too scared of what Daniel would do to them next, that they stood in their initial position without making any attempt to move.
They only went to Gerald's side and called 911 when Daniel left. Luckily, Gerald was still breathing, but unfortunately, he was unconscious.
