Weeks had passed with both Daniel and Elena relating well with each other. After their first night out; Daniel secretly went to inquire from Selena if Elena had any ulterior motives for hanging out with him, and just as Elena had expected, Selena responded in the negative.
Kathy on the other hand had deteriorated in health. Daniel was not only completely ignoring her, but he was now spending so much time with Elena which made Kathy to cry herself to sleep every night.
The only thing he had not done was to bring Elena to the Manor which was a huge relief for Kathy.
Even after everything Daniel had been doing to her for the past weeks, she still couldn't get herself to hate him which was affecting her, both physically and emotionally.
Her surprise was the fact that Elena was still breathing. 'Was she some kind of superhuman or something?' She would ask herself from time to time.
