Elena and Daniel hanged out as always. Elena could not focus. Her mind was completely distracted by the thoughts of what Kathy might be going through in the hands of Daniel. It was like she could feel the pain that Kathy was going through.
"Did you get what I said?" Daniel asked the completely absent minded Elena. "This is the fifth time today you're acting this way. What's up?"
"No. Nothing. I'm fine." She quickly said as she took a sip of her luke warm chocolate drink. "Are you sure about that?" Daniel inquired further. Elena rapidly nodded her head.
"If you say so." Daniel shrugged it off. He stared intently at Elena as if studying her. When she could no longer bear the stare, she turned away.
"It's about Kathy, right?" Daniel chuckled.
Elena looked at him with confusion written all over her face. "Who's Kathy?" She questioned as she stuffed her mouth with more cookies.
