After Adira had put the twins to bed, she was ready to retire for the day. She wanted to check the time, so she placed her gaze on the wall clock in the living room. It was past eleven PM.
She was tired and confused about what to do. Her boss has not returned, and she wasn't sure if she should go to bed or stay awake and wait for him. There was no instruction concerning that.
She had read the rules and regulations he handed to her, and there was no place he mentioned anything about her retirement for the night.
Considering how stressed she was, she sighed and sat on the bare floor.
She feels the kids were going to a handful, considering how easily and how loud they cried the whole day. They would cry even when they didn't need anything. She hoped that they would change with time.
She got up from the floor and walked to the room that was assigned to her. She sat on the bed, hoping to stay awake till her boss came back.
