In an area of Mexico city, amongst the Intellectual buildings, a building stood tall with no comparison. It was the Yanns group of companies headquarter, owned by the Yanns family. The headquarter is a building of thirty floors, made of glass and well structured material.
Inside a well spacious furnished room with sleek and modern decor, the walls were adorned with tasteful artwork, and a large window provided a stunning view of the cityscape. A polished mahogany desk dominated the room, and a plush seating area invited guests to relax.
Ryan Yanns, a respectable and honoured young man sat down comfortably on his seat while having a discussion with his assistant, Gabriel Ramos. Ryan Yanns is the CEO of Yanns group of companies and the Son of Luis Yanns, Chairman of the Yanns family company.
He wore a brown coloured Italian suit which was well ironed and fitted. His wrist was complimented with an expensive silver Rolex watch, his style exuded confidence, uniqueness and professionalism.
"Gabriel, how is the project going?" Ryan asked, his hands resting on his desk while one was massaging his chin.
Gabriel, seating opposite to him, answered, "We're still working on it, but, so far it's going well."
Contrast to Ryan's style, Gabriel was wearing a well tailored Spanish suit, his hair was combed to the back and his goatee beard were perfectly trimmed. His style of dressing gave out a simple but professional aura.
"That's good." Gabriel heard Ryan say.
As their conversation continued, they both heard the door open and their eyes turned to the direction. "Good morning brother..." Priscilla greeted with a smile as she entered the office.
Priscilla Yanns, the daughter of Mr Luis Yanns and twin sister to Ryan is a young beautiful lady of average height. Just like her brother, she has a cheerful character and like her father, she is a schemer.
She and her brother has been living in Mexico city with their mother since they were four. Though they had to hide their secret of being a werewolf, it never stopped them from socializing with other people.
She wore a simple white t-shirt and black jeans trouser topping it up with a designer canvas. With a minimal and simple make up, her beauty still looked radiating to the point of making any man drool at first sight.
She walked gracefully and smartly to where the both men were having their discussions and sat beside Gabriel making her seat opposite to Ryan.
"Father sent me to you." She added with her legs crossed and her eyes fixed on Ryan.
"Why?" Ryan asked gazing at her intently.
"Good morning Priscilla," Gabriel greeted with a smile in which she responded with a teasing smile.
"Brother, I've told you to give Gabriel to me. Can't you just let me have him even if it's for a day." Priscilla said with pouted lips.
Hearing her words, Ryan shook his head while Gabriel gulped down his saliva. Everyone in the Yanns household were aware of her feelings for Gabriel ever since he became close friends with Ryan in middle school. They were not only aware of her feelings but also her shamelessness when it comes to her emotions.
Ignoring her question, Ryan asked, "Why does father want to see me?"
"Well, he said you haven't been home for months and he's missing his son..." A smirk appeared on her lips, "But you do know that's not the real reason he wants to see you right?"
Ryan sighed, he was fully aware of why his father wanted to see him. He cursed under his breath before speaking; "I'll call father later. Is there anything else?"
"hmm... whatever," Priscilla rolled her eyes then turned her attention to Gabriel. "Gabriel...," She called his name sweetly.
'Oh God please save me from this girl.' Gabriel said inwardly and quaffed.
Seeing his reaction, Priscilla could not help but smile. She wanted to tease him more and she was going to do that.
"It's been a while we went outing together, what do you think about us going out for lunch today?"
Even though Gabriel knew Priscilla's feelings for him, he couldn't deny the fact that he also loves her. He knew non of her family members were against him having a relationship with her but he just couldn't understand why he hasn't mustered the courage to ask her out despite her open feelings for him. Was he scared that he would hurt her or was he just holding back and waiting for ' the supposed ' right time.
He sighed before answering, "Ask your brother, if he wishes to release me during that time then I'll take you out for lunch."
Ryan, hearing what Gabriel said knew that Gabriel wanted to turn the tables to him and he wasn't going to let that happen.
With a smirk on his lips and a sarcastic tone, "Do you also want me to give you permission to go into a relationship with my sister?" Ryan said.
Priscilla smiled at her brothers words as she saw Gabriel face turning red. "Let's see what excuse you will give this time?" She said inwardly with joy.
"Brother is asking you a question Gabby..." She cutely called him a pet name. "Do you need his permission?" She asked, blinking her puppy eyes.
Gabriel bowed his head slightly in embarrassment, he didn't want to meet Priscilla's teasing gaze if not it would be difficult for him to answer.
He knew that the brother and sister duo were ganging up against him just like always. "Why don't things always go in my favour when it concerns this two?" He closed his eyes in frustration and sighed in defeat.
"I'll pick you up by 12pm, just be ready by then." He said and dashed out of the office without waiting for Priscilla's response.
Priscilla laughed happily In satisfaction. "Thank you brother, you're the best." She said and it earned her a smile from Ryan. She stood up, leaving the office she waved at him.
Ryan shook his head as he watched his sister leave his office. His thoughts drifted to the reason why his father wanted to see. He knew his father so well and that was why he felt hopeless.
"Father, you're really frustrating me. Why did you do it? I just hope I'm not going to join your aimless gain." He said to himself and sighed before turning his attention back to his laptop and the documents on his desk.
Meanwhile in Kelvin office, he was done scanning through the file in his hand. "Have you showed it to Mr Miguel?" He asked and raised his head to look at Amelia.
"No, not yet. My father hasn't seen it." He heard her answer as he handed the file back to her.
Standing from the sofa, he went to sit down at his desk. "He's the Chief Sustainability officer and the head of the project, you should show him first. He'll be the one to access it before me."
"Huh..," Amelia fell speechless. "Are you for real? You already collected it and read through it and now you're saying my father should be the one to access it before you? C'mon are you just frustrating my efforts on purpose?" She wanted to pour out her frustration.
"You can leave my office now and follow things the right way." Kelvin said without battling an eye.
