["Congratulations host, you have been granted the Omniverse System"].
A melodious robotic tone abruptly resounded within Zephyrion's mind, pleasantly surprising him.
He was electrified, and his body trembled with excitement. "Ah, I had almost overlooked this detail – didn't most of the reincarnated characters in those novels possess a guiding system, empowering them and bestowing strength?"
"Hahaha, system, status!" Zephyrion couldn't contain his excitement as he joyfully exclaimed in his mind.
As soon as Zephyrion uttered those words, a status screen akin to that of a video game suddenly materialized in front of him, transparent to his view."

Zephyrion trembled at the consequences attached to the main quest, finding the system's demands rather harsh, pushing him toward possible demise immediately upon their first encounter.
Yet, he held no grudge, understanding that if he couldn't kill the two boys, they'd turn the tables and eliminate him.
As once an assassin, it was a stark choice – either he kills or be killed."
Zephyrion turned his gaze toward the two boys, who are still laughing loudly, his smile mischievous.
"Hehehe. With the system by my side, those two boys were in for a surprise today. After all, protagonists aren't supposed to meet their end on their very first day of reincarnation, at least not in my story."
And then he came to a realization, having a system didn't seem to change anything, did it? There was no sudden surge in power or a divine weapon at his disposal to swiftly deal with those two.
"Urrrrmmm, system?" Zephyrion pondered, scratching his head. "I find myself in a rather tricky spot right now. Could you please lend me a hand, perhaps?"
The seconds passed slowly, the system remained silent, leaving Zephyrion anxious. Then, like a sudden surge of vitality coursing through him, Zephyrion felt an unstoppable power welling up from within, igniting his spirit.
Then, the system cold robotic voice sounded.
[As a starting bonus, you have been granted the power and ability of your past life, and you have thirty seconds to make the most of them before it runs out.]
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Zephyrion exclaimed as he eagerly accessed his status window, eager to compare the achievements of his past life with his present self.

"Zephyrion was left in awe, a surge of disbelief coursing through his heart as he repeatedly examined his stats. "Is this truly how my past life's powers were? So much little in strength and agility? How can this be?"
["Dear host, please be informed that the current stat display doesn't represent your past life on Earth. After careful analysis of the power rankings in this world, these stats have been converted to reflect the strength of your past life in comparison to this world's standards."]
Zephyrion was dumbfounded and stood in disbelief, realizing that the strength he boasted and proud of on Earth paled in comparison to the formidable power possessed by the inhabitants of this world.
[Twenty seconds remainning.]
A cold, emotionless voice sounded.
"What, you sneaky bastard! You never mentioned that the timer was ticking!" Zephyrion was furious.
With a graceful motion, he sprang to his feet, snatching up the sturdy, pointed branch in the process.
Zephyrion looked towards the two boys with a small smile on his lips. Unlike before, he would feel the power coursing through him at the moment.
"Hey, Lyrak, check this out! I think that trash you punched has gone a little crazy. He's been in a daze, staring off into the distance and grinning like there's no tomorrow," the companion of the blonde-haired boy named Lyrak remarked.
"Yeah, I saw it too. A trash is a trash after all, just a little punch in the stomach and he has gone crazy."
Not wanting to waste another moment as the timer was ticking, Zephyrion swiftly closed the distance to the boy besides the blonde youth.
He would sense that dealing with the blonde guy might be a little tough challenge, and he wasn't eager to engage in a battle just yet.
All what the two boys felt was a blur, as Zephyrion moved toward his first target, who barely have time to react.
With a swift movement, the pointed branch found it mark, piercing the boy throat with precision. His eyes widened in shock, and a strangled gasp escaped his lips as life drained from him.
A ding sound suddenly echo in Zephyrion head the instant the boy was killed, but he ignored it for now.
Without missing a beat, Zephyrion swiftly struck at the blonde guy's head after eliminating his first target, never pausing for a breath.
This is no joke, with his life on the line, he couldn't afford to leave anything to chance.
The blonde guy, startled by the sudden burst of aggression, swiftly formed an 'X' with his hands and skillfully deflected the pointed branch.
Zephyrion was taken aback, the blonde boy had successfully parried his strike, and Zephyrion was exerting his past life's strength at the moment.
Back on Earth, few could withstand his blows, yet here, an eighteen-year-old had skillfully blocked his attack.
[Ten seconds remaining]
A voice rang out in Zephyrion head once again.
"Shut up! I know, don't distract me."
The blonde boy took a few steps back and was horrified. He gaze fell on his dead companion who still have a shock expression on his face, as if he didn't believe he actually died.
The blonde boy tremble, his eyes fixed on Zephyrion. "You? How did you become so powerful all of a sudden? You were just a nobody and a trash, incapable of practicing magic or martial arts."
Zephyrion eyes turn cold. "You're still calling me trash. Die for me!" Zephyrion roared aloud and was very furious.
With a fluid movement and using one of his best moves, he moved in a zig-zig and arrive in front of the boy in an instant.
A wave of his hands, he drove the sharp branch into the heart of the blonde boy.
The blonde boy guttural scream filled the forest, only to be abruptly silenced as life drained from him.
A gentle ding echoed once more in his mind the instant he took down the blonde-haired fellow.
[Your time has passed, dear host. The borrowed power shall be removed now]
Zephyrion suddenly felt weak the moment the power was reclaimed from him. His legs wouldn't withstand it and crumble to the ground on his knees.
"Damn it! This body is just too weak, just only thirty seconds and already fell to the ground. I need to find a way to get stronger as soon as possible."
Zephyrion gazed upon the two lifeless boys sprawled on the ground and whispered softly, "Yashin, wherever your spirit roams, just know that those who took your life have met their own fate. May your soul now rest in peace."
A look of pity appeared on Zephyrion's face as the vivid life memories of Yashin flooded his brain, the previous owner of the body he now possessed.
