I had ransacked the gift shops in Trinidad looking for the perfect gift to give Samantha seeing as she had been through a lot in just a matter of days.
Although it made no sense to me that she allowed herself to get so stressed over some boy she knew next to nothing about, I knew all too well that Samantha thrived off of good deeds. I didn't want to interfere with the chain reaction of her purity or at least that's what I liked to call it.
I couldn't find anything different to get for her. Something that would stick to her memory or maybe it was just the place I was searching so I decided I was enough of a gift for now.
My flight was in about an hour or two and I looked forward to it. Business occasions and traveling as a whole never stood out for me. It was to go, get things done, and be back to base.
