When I first woke up I was surrounded by a pack of sleeping Kamio Dragons, they slept peacefully with bellies full of... me. But I was fine, my scratches and bite marks were gone and the wound on my stomach fully closed up.
Looking more closely at the creatures I could better comprehend what they were, lizards. Big ones but no bigger than a medium sized dog. They had no clue that their meal had just woken up, and I intended to make use of that.
My branch was still next to me and I saw my opportunity, one by one I killed each and every one of the pack as they slept and with each kill I heard the * ding * in my head.

The message box came back, I remembered it saying something about a character sheet before I passed out. As if reading my mind a new box appeared, and same as before, I can see it whether my eyes are open or closed.

Some of this information was both obvious and hurtful, and 1 in Intelligence? I know I'm not that smart but now this thing is calling me stupid! And my Constitution is a negative number and labeled as "cursed" I can only assume it means my joint pain.
But at least now I remember my name, but something else about the character sheet is making me feel uneasy. It states my age in "earth years", as if to say I'm not on earth. But I guess thats possible as I don't remember earth having those lizard things. I should also check my "abilities" and "skills" that were mentioned before...

The more I investigated these mysterious boxes I started to feel a strange feeling of recognition and understanding. I knew HP was my health, Def was a "armor" value, and that although my Regeneration was good it wasn't perfect. If something could deal 5 damage to me within a second I would die.
I decided to explore the cave I was in, the lizards had to have came from somewhere and I needed to get out of here. Each step I took was painful and it almost maked me wish I had taken the Pain Nullification ability, but if I had there's no guarantee I'd be alive right now.
As I explored I saw traces of what I guessed was my own blood as well as claw prints leading further in. As I walked I worried if I was going towards a exit, or just walking deeper into danger. But then I heard it, chewing, crunching and... dripping. It sounded like water but I didn't want to get my hopes up.
Rounding a corner within the cave I saw another Kamio Dragon as it was eating something... a foot? Wait.. THATS MY FOOT! That little shit took my foot! But it turns out I was right, next to the little fucker is a puddle of water formed by the steady dripping of water from the roof of the cave. I hadn't noticed how dry my mouth was until I saw it.
I decided to try to sneak up on the lizard as it was distracted, but It saw me. I don't know if these things can feel fear, but I can definitely tell it was confused because it's food was still alive and moving. I took the opportunity while it was confused to strike and with a swing that reminded me of something called "golf" I launched the creature into a cave wall dazing it. With a final downward stab it was dead and I heard the familiar * ding *.
