After drinking some water I decided to collect my thoughts and decide my next steps.
Leveling up I earns me 3 Stat Points that I can use to increase my stats. I decided to put all 3 points into my Constitution so I can survive a bit longer. My Constitution is now at 2 and I have 11Hp which still feels low but It's better than it was before.
I'm currently wearing only some ripped up pants so I'm completely unprotected if I were to take a hit. Although my Regeneration can help for drawn out fights a more dangerous predator may kill me. I have no idea how big this cave is or if I'm going towards a exit or not.
As hungry as I am I don't exactly feel comfortable eating something that was eating me, but I may not have other options.
After drinking my fill of water I decided to venture further into the cave, indecision would only prolong the inevitable. While walking I followed the right hand side wall of the cave, if the cave is a maze eventually I can follow the walls to a exit.
There were other creatures in the cave but none were actively hostile to me like the lizards were, small bats and bugs all ran away from me as I explored. My eyes had adjusted to the darkness but I was still unsure of every step, until I saw a light in the distance.
I walked towards it slowly and paid attention to what could be hiding in the darkness of the cave. Nothing was there and I reached the source of light to find, a large glowing mushroom. It was as tall as me and green in hue, it lit up the cave to show other mushrooms of smaller sizes all around itself. I was amazed at how a mushroom could grow so big when a text box appeared in my vision.

Suddenly my lungs began to burn and in a panic I opened the Character Sheet to see how much HP I'm losing.

"I can't do the math for that right now, I gotta get out of here!" I say through labored breaths.
Out of the corner of my eyes I see something crawl out from behind the mushroom. A large Kamio Dragon stands on its hind legs looking at me hungrily. It probably waits here for its prey to be poisoned so it can get a easy meal. And I'm the idiot who just waltzed right onto his plate. Well I'm not gonna go down yet at least not without a fight!

The Kamio Dragon lunges at me with its jaw wide open, I can barley follow its speed with my eyes and barely react fast enough to dodge the attack. It's mouth snaps shut at where my head previously was a second ago and I see a opportunity to attack and I go to swing my branch. But I'm frozen

I see a claw swipe at my chest and I try to dodge but it scratches my right shoulder, when I feel my foot slip on the uneven surface of the cave floor. I feel a sharp pain from my ankle I'm forced to ignore, but the creature saw me stumble and goes for another bite. Out of panic I try to block the incoming attack with the branch but the weight of the beast makes me lose my footing.

It's on top of me, clawing at my skin, drool is dripping down onto my face as it feverishly continues to bite at the branch. The branch is cracking, my arms are weak, my lungs are burning and I can feel blood pooling in my throat. I look to my character sheet for some kind of comfort, please tell me that I'm not dying...

...oh... I'm dying.... but that's not fair.... what did I do to deserve this? Why am I here? I'm just a kid.... this isnt fair....kids aren't supposed to die like this.... With a scream of pain and adrenaline I use the branch to push the creature up enough to kick it off of me, doing so breaks the branch in two but that's ok, now I have a weapon for each hand.

The Kamio charges at me once again but I'm not freezing this time, I don't have time to be afraid. I dodge to the left as it's mouth snaps down and I see my opportunity once again and this time I take it. I stab the underside of its jaw with the branch in my right hand and it shrieks in pain as I hop back to make some distance.
"What's the matter? Can't handle a little pain" I choked out while spitting out the blood in my lungs.

In a frenzy the Kamio charges at me hissing and as I try to dodge it slows it's charge enough to follow my movements. As it's maw clouds my vision I thrust my left hand into its mouth. It's mouth snaps down on my arm, inadvertently driving the branch in my hand through the roof of its mouth. As I look into the eyes of my predator scared that it wasn't enough to kill it * ding *.
