"That's a very rude thing to say, Lilith!" Maria snapped at her younger sister who glanced away from her and fixed her gaze on Xenon.
"He's not complaining, is he?" She retorted and Maria twitched her lips in fury, getting pissed at the fact that Xenon was being insulted for no reason.
"This is not even his duty! You're joining Mum to all this bullshit instead of welcoming a family we haven't met before, this is so barbaric right now!"
"Go Maria and don't play big sis here, this is mum's order!" She told her and she huffed out frustratingly and left, now leaving Xenon and Lilith.
"Where is your room?" Xenon asked her curtly and she smiled, arranging her with her fingers and adjusting her jeans skirt that stopped at her mid-thighs.
"Follow me." She said softly and the loud rude voice was gone, walking straight to the door that was covered with curtains and they both entered Inside.
The place was truly a mess and this made Xenon release a sigh. He couldn't believe he was doing this when he was supposed to get an apartment to meet with Mr Vlad so he could validate the agreement he had with him.
The competition is in a month and he needs to ask Felicity for the list of competitors to know what they are good at and learn all of it. He was glad that his powers were not taking over but he was pissed that he was doing rubbish instead of getting the hell out of this place.
"Here it is, you just need to arrange the clothes, my shoes stay in the corner, just where the wardrobe is and my bed needs to look neat." She told him and smiled and Xenon gritted his teeth hard, controlling himself not to wipe the silly smile off her face with the insults she just displayed.
"I'll help you too, so don't worry. It's not proper to stress you out."
"I'm already stressed out!" Xenon muttered under his breath and took a step when his phone rang. He paused and saw Alfredo as the caller and stepped outside to answer it as he didn't trust the little brat in there.
"Hey, I hope you're cool?" He asked.
~There's nothing cool about anything right now!~
Alfredo replied feeling restless which made Xenon frown.
"Talk to me, what happened?" He asked him.
~Well, I had to make some Inquiries about that place and it happens to be true that they are truly your family but they no longer belong to Viscaria as they are disqualified. What is fishy is the fact that she had spoken with Andrea, and Alec! It doesn't sound nice, I felt it while I was in Viscaria, there's an interaction with the human and it happens be to her alone.
Alfredo explained which made Xenon sigh in confusion, he raked his hand through his gold hair and bit his lips.
"Who the fuck is Andrea and Alec?"
Alfredo gasped in surprise
~Don't tell me you don't know them.~
"What business do I have with them? All I need to do is get the hell out of this place as they are already turning me into a slave overnight "
"Well, they are the same men that tried to kill you with that poisonous smoke at the club. They are working for the current King who might kill you if he ever set his eyes on you and they are coming over to that house as long as they spoke to that woman! They know you're there Xenon!" He said as Xenon's face became white with fear, confusion taking over and goose pimples washing over his skin.
"What do I do now?" He asked.
"Just get the hell out and meet Mr. Vlad, I'll think of a way to deal with those two."
Alfredo told Xenon who released a shaky breath and nodded.
"Okay, thanks. I'll call you when I'm out." He said and ended the call and a hot wave of duty took him.
This new Aunty of his or whoever she was lying to him about his grandmother's debt but has plans to hand him over to his enemy.
"What manner of wickedness is this?" He gasped in surprise and everything became tiring instantly. He wasn't going to do a dime as he was going to confront her and get the hell out of this place but his phone rang again and he twitched his lips frustratingly and picked up the call without checking the caller.
" Are you trying to say that this woman lied to me and my grandmother's debt? I'm leaving now!" He fired into the call.
"Who lied to you?" A soft voice spoke through the phone and he frowned
"Felicity?" He asked.
"Hmm? Where are you and why do you seem so pissed?" She asked him and he sighed.
"I am pissed and at my Aunt's place."
"You haven't come for your check-up yet, will you come over now?" She asked him sweetly and he smirked.
"Sure, I'll be on my way now. Where should I meet you?"
"My office, third floor, room 013 ... .don't make me wait Xenon, I need you here." She told him as she was breathless with a seductive voice which made Xenon's cocke stir in his shorts as he wondered what was going to happen in that office. That boosted his enthusiasm to leave the house immediately and he dropped the rag he was holding and headed to the door, it's useless staying here when they were clearly after his life.
"Where are you going?" He heard that calm voice and turned to meet Mari who could come from one of the rooms.
"I need to leave." He said sincerely."
"But why? You aren't done with my mum yet right?"
She asked Innocently and he knew that she wasn't even aware of her mother's schemes.
"No, I'm done. See you some other time Maria." He replied to her trying so hard not to look at her nipples as she was no longer wearing a bra.
"We should have lunch first before you go, you shouldn't miss that for anything right?"
She insisted and he almost groaned in displeasure.
He wanted to leave, why can't she just get that and leave him alone?
"I'll be back Maria, have a great time." He told her curtly and walked away but as If everything happened in a flash before him, he opened the door and his nose was covered with a white towel which made him inhale the intoxicating scent to make his head reel and spin.
Lilith was standing by the door, her tiny hands pressing firmly to him and he slapped her hands away but it was too late. He was coughing so hard to get the scent off his nose and held the wall for support lest he fall.
"W..w–what have you done to me?" He coughed loudly and stared at Lilith who smiled sheepishly at him.
"Nothing, I just wanted you to stay. I hope you have a nice sleep ahead!" She giggled and turned to Maria.
" We should take him to my room, Dad would be here anything and we'll all be ok trouble!" She exclaimed and Maria bit her lips in anger.
"That's not for you to decide!" She glared and turned to Xenon who was staring at the both of them in shock. His knees buckled weakly to the ground and his eyes became bloodshot as he struggled to keep it barely open.
"You don't know who you're messing with!" Xenon wanted to yell but it only came out as a whisper and fell to the ground in a thud and a slow footstep emerged.
"You girls should take him to my room, You've dad would be here any minute and the men would come for him too. I can't waste this opportunity." Abigail told her daughters.
"But I don't think this is fair Mum, you practically lied to him about –"
"Shut the heck up Maria and do as I've said! The world in general hasn't been fair to me so stop spewing gibberish." She unleashed her and she kept quiet, moving over to drag a limo Xenon with her sister to her rook and that same moment, a knock sounded on the door.
