He kisses her again… passionately, perfectly, and her hands go to the back of his head as he pulls him to her body eagerly.
They were both lost in pleasure without caring about anything in the world and the possibility of anyone barging in despite the situation at hand.
"Feels good, shit" Maria murmurs against his lips. "So good." She glided his hands over his back and behind that she could feel the muscles contract as his body worked hers.
She wants more. She needed him more. She lifted her legs to Invite him to thrust into her. "Harder." He clenches his jaw and pulls back.
His moves slowly get harder and she smiles up at him in awe. Oh God, this was so good for them. He pulls his hips back and then he hits her hard. The air is knocked out of her lungs, and she winces. "Are you in there Maria? Come out already! They are gone and Mum is unconscious!" Lilith screamed with frustration and Maria stood up giving Xenon a last glance before dashing out of the kitchen.
"Is she still breathing?" Maria asked her sister who nodded and fidgeted.
"They said they will be back Maria, they look so scary and their eyes have some strange kind of colour." Lilith quaked in fear and Maria was confused as well. She knew that if there was anyone to answer that question it was Xenon.
And turning back to check if he had come out from the kitchen, she saw him standing there with an unconcerned look.
Her face flushed as his shirt was still unbuttoned but she pushed away any silly thoughts and became serious.
"Who are those men?" She asked Xenon who arched his eyebrows at her.
"Excuse me?"
"I mean, the men that came looking for you today. They did this to my mum when I was trying to let you escape "
"You should direct that question to your mother who tried to kill me by handing me to them." Xenon sounded pissed, the realization of what could have happened to him hit him like a toke of bricks and he wished Alfredo had warned him earlier.
"That's not nice Xenon, she's unconscious right now and I need to know what to do and not try to shift blame," Maria uttered to him, feeling pissed at his actions but Xenon was more pissed.
"I'm grateful for the fact that you tried to help me escape from the mess you all caused, if you had never Intoxicated me then none of this would have happened Maria. I don't know those men and I don't know why your mum would send them to get me and do this to her. " He buttoned his shirt and sighed.
"She was hypnotised and would get up, if she was killed; she wouldn't be breathing. Ask her why she set me up with those men." Xenon told her and took some steps to leave.
"Are you leaving already?" Maria gasped and Xenon sighed in frustration.
"I was supposed to leave Hours ago Maria, is there anything you want me to do again?"
"No…I .. mean, we didn't– " She stuttered and swallowed at her words not knowing how to complete her sentence.
Part of her was already breaking that he was going to leave and act as if they didn't just have some intimate moments together.
"Are you just leaving as if there was nothing between us?" She finally blurted out, not caring at the presence of her sister and Xenon scoffed.
"Between us?" He was surprised that she read meaning to the Intimate moments. She gave herself willingly to him and accepted. There's nothing and there will never be anything between any gender of the female, not after what Natalia had done to him, almost killing himself in the process to save her.
"Don't get your hopes high Maria, there's nothing between us. What we had was great and I'll gladly recreate that. Just that and nothing else, don't expect much." He told her as a matter of finality and took a last glance at her mum.
"I might visit again to check on her but not as an errand boy, this time around.."
He said and walked out of the room leaving Maria as dejected and confused as ever.
Xenon wanted to visit Felicity in the hospital to collect the names of those he was going to compete with so he could start his training with Alfredo. He also wanted to meet Mr Vlad concerning the agreement they made as he needed to sign some necessary documents.
He opted for the hospital instead and went towards First Choice. He had a déjà vu and hated the feeling instantly.
This was where his grandfather had died the saw place he had laid down his life to save his fiancé, only to be trashed out like a nonentity.
"Watch your way!" A deep voice growled at Xenon jerking him from his thoughts and he quickly apologised.
"I'm so sorry-" He paused, feeling irritated that it was Enzo.
"Do we always have to bump into each other Xenon huh? And what are you doing here instead of being at work?" He asked Xenon who grits his teeth in fury.
"I have no business with Royal Volt!" He spat out at him and he smirked.
"Remember the contract Xenon! It's five years and you can't break it no matter how you try and paupers like you the can't even break contracts!" He grinned at him, knowing that he had Xenon at his beck and calm and Xenon cursed under his breath.
He had forgotten about the confidentiality and tenure of the contract.
When he desperately wanted to be an apprentice in the Royal Volt, he didn't have enough money to complete his payment.
It was way too much but he knew he had to start something no matter how little or he would be miserable forever.
He wanted to be a chef too so he signed a contract to be an Apprentice for five years alongside the token he had paid.
"Excuse me, Mr Enzo."
Xenon told the man, trying to avoid him. The realisation that he needs to be at his restaurant and looking at his face now and then pissed him off to the core.
"What are you doing in a place like this?"
"It's none of your business, Sir." Xenon fired at Enzo who chuckled mockingly at him.
"Alright, don't just cause a scene."
"Who's causing a scene dear?" A tiny voice came out from the door behind him and Natalia's face made Xenon even more angry. His heart rate increased as he became paranoid that she might recall what had happened between the both of them.
"What is he doing here?" Natalia shrieked out in disgust and her eyes widened when she saw the gold card at the sides of the pocket.
With three powerful steps toward him, she pulled the card out and tore it to pieces before his eyes.
