Everyone in The Age Of Sorcery has acces to a sort of game like interface.
This interface has a a health bar or hp bar.
Before the age of magic whenever a person would receive enough damage they would break a bone.
In the Age Of Sorcery this reduces a persons hp. But they still break a bone.
This is because now whenever a person receives damage and breakes a bone. Hp is automatically used. Depending on the amount of damage a corrosponding amount of hp is used. After which the broken bone or injury heals.
At birth a person has 5 hp.
This later increases to 100 hp when they reach full maturity at the age of 20.
This is how much hp is needed to heal certain wounds.
1. Bruise : 1 hp
2. Small cut : 5 hp
3. Long slash wound : 20 hp
4. Long deep slash wound : 40 hp
5. Broken finger : 5 hp
6. Half of the arm broken : 30 hp
7. Hand or feet broken : 20 hp
8. Entire arm broken : 60 hp
9. Entire leg broken : 80 hp
10. 1 broken ribcage : 20 hp
11. Severed arm : 100 hp
12. Severed leg : 120 hp
13. Hole through the heart : 40 hp
Of course any injury can take more or less hp to heal. Not all injuries are going to perfectly severe an arm or leg in half.
