Chapter 13 - Legendary Dark Dragon

  "Dark Spirit Arrow!"

  "Spirit Devouring Arrow!"

  "Poison Spirit Arrow!"

With three soft shouts, three arrows with a black glow were shot at Vince in a zigzag pattern.

Without turning his head, Vince waved his staff and bellowed, "Barrier!"

Those three arrows, as if pulled by an invisible hand in the void, slowly decreased in speed. They finally stopped in front of Vincent. Vince raised the bottom of his staff and knocked the three arrows to the ground, then turned his head to look in the direction the arrows came from.

  "Huh?"

Over there, there was actually a young girl who looked exactly like the dark elf girl who was bound!

"Bad guy, let go of my sister!" The young girl raised the bow and arrow in her hand and pulled back the bowstring, the cold flashing arrow pointing at Vince.

"Who are you?" Vince grinned as he released the space magic bindings.

After the restraints were lifted, the young girl timidly glanced at Vince, then like a frightened deer, she ran behind another young girl, and then poked her tongue out at Vince.

"Greetings, honorable human mage! We are the princesses of the Dark Elf Clan, my name is Kris, and this is my sister Alice." Chrissy learned human etiquette and bowed to Vince.

"Oh? You guys are actually the princesses of the Dark Elf race?" Vince turned his head to look at Kesos who had already returned and asked, "Butler Kesos, didn't you say that the Dark Elf race generally lives underground? Why are they all running up here?"

Kessus smiled awkwardly, "This, this, Young Master Vince, I don't know."

"Honorable human mage, I can answer this question of yours. We originally lived underground, but some time ago, a dark magic dragon came to the area where we lived. This Dark Demon Dragon disturbed our peaceful life, so we temporarily went above ground to hide from it." Chris answered.

Vince's eyes lit up, "Dark Demon Dragon?"

The Blizzard Greedy Wolf was given to Allegra, and Vince had long wanted to capture another magical pet, mount, bodyguard, little brother cum evil servant, except that on the Wilderness Plains, he actually didn't meet any magical beasts that were above level five or above.

Now that he heard the Dark Demon Dragon, he had an idea in his mind.

Although he didn't have the Light of Contract, he had the blood of the Mythic Grade Ancient Inferno Dragon, so as long as he could beat the Dark Demon Dragon, he could force a master-servant contract!

"What class of Dark Demon Dragon?" Vince asked.

"Upper Legendary level!" Kris said with a hint of fear.

Magical beasts of this rank were so powerful that wanting to destroy a small race that didn't have a strong person of the same rank sitting in their midst was simply a breeze!

  "Great!" Vince cheered.

Although the Blizzard Greedy Wolf was a Legendary Grade Magical Beast, it was merely of the Primary Rank, and it was still the inconspicuous kind of Primary Rank. On the other hand, the Dark Devil Dragon was an upper level Legendary Grade!

Moreover, the Dark Demon Dragon still had room to grow, it might advance to Holy Spirit level at some point, and it might even grow to Mythic level!

"Chrissy, the dark demon dragon, is it still there?"

Clarice looked at him suspiciously, although Vincent was a space magician with a powerful natural attribute, his strength, however, definitely did not reach the epic level, let alone the legendary level!

'Could it be that he wants to go defeat the Dark Demon Dragon and be the legendary Dragon Slayer Warrior?' Clarice thought secretly in her heart.

"Honorable human mage, I'm grateful that you were able to release my sister. Therefore, I sincerely hope that you will dispel the idea of being a dragon slayer warrior. That's an upper Legendary level Dark Demon Dragon, your strength, should be a little bit worse than it." Chris politely advised.

"Thanks for the concern, but I still want to check out that Dark Demon Dragon." Vince insisted.

Kessus, who was standing behind him, intentionally or unintentionally released a hint of epic mage pressure. At once, the two of them, Clarice and Alice, looked towards him.

''What a terrifying magic power!'' Clarice said in her heart. ''However, this old man isn't a match for that dark magic dragon either! Forget it, just let him go down and take a look. It has nothing to do with us anyway!''

After making up her mind, Clarice pointed to the west and said, "Esteemed human mage, if you keep walking towards the west, you will find a desolate mountain range. Underneath that mountain range, if you look carefully, you will find an entrance into the underground. Once inside, you will find the Dark Demon Dragon. I think it should be sleeping right now."

"West? It's rather on the way!" Vince took out a dark-attributed fourth-ranked magic core and tossed it to Kris, "Thanks for the news, elf."

After saying that, the green light on his body flashed, and his silhouette was already rushing towards the west.

Kris froze a bit with the magic core, and from far away, a voice came. "By the way, Alice, next time I'll wait for you to come and eat me oh! Hahahahaha ~~~~"

Alice looked at Vince's distant back and said with open teeth and claws, "Damn human!"

Clarice helplessly stroked Alice's black hair and advised, ''Sister, that human mage isn't bad, or you'd be in danger! Hurry up and go back with me, and from now on, you are not allowed to come out alone! If you dare to wander off again, I'll lock you up!"

"Got it, sis." Alice said pitifully.

Utilizing the wind magic boost, the two of them, Vince and Kessos, reached a speed of at least sixty flywheels per hour. Even so, the two of them rushed for almost five hours before they stood in front of a desolate mountain range.

This mountain range was just as Kessos had described it, so desolate that there was nothing in it. The mountain range stretched on, with nothing but a few low bushes growing.

A mountain range like this, even if there were magic potions, it wouldn't be anything good!

Vince stood at the foot of the mountain range and closed his eyes, taking in the scent of the place. There was a thick, earthy odor in the air, and a faint scent of darkness.

"Young Master Vince, do we really want to establish a territory in such a desolate place?" Kessus tried to dissuade Vincent once again, even if he wanted to establish a territory, he didn't need to establish it in such a desolate place.

The world of Clontia, there's plenty of land!

"It's quite nice here!" Vince still had his eyes closed, the knowledge of mineral identification and magical material identification constantly flashing in his mind, and he always felt that the mountain in front of him was very strange.

A hidden magic power fluctuation came out from the mountain, but it was blocked by something in it, causing this magic power fluctuation to be abnormally weak, and it appeared and disappeared.

If he didn't possess the Mineral Discriminating and Magic Material Discriminating Divine Artisan level professions, he would never have discovered it!

"Young Master Vince, there's nothing here, how are we going to develop in the future?"

"Yes? Steward Kessos, maybe everyone was wrong about this place!" Vince finally realized what exactly was in that mountain, as well as what was blocking the magic fluctuations!

"Truly the heavens have helped me!" Vince laughed out loud.

Kessos didn't understand what Vince was laughing at, but after experiencing the Mythic Scroll repelling a Mythic Powerhouse, Kessos had more and more confidence in Vince.

Since Vince said this was a good place to be, it was just as well that he, Kessos, followed.

"Steward Kessus, tomorrow we'll go back and clean up that Dark Demon Dragon, tonight I'm going to think about how to develop the territory, go grab some food and come back."

"Okay, Young Master Vince wait a moment."
