Once again, the Dark Demon Dragon is perfect for the role of the evil servant!
Kesoth's heart was chilling, fortunately he had caught the Dark Demon Dragon, if he hadn't caught the Dark Demon Dragon, there was no guarantee that Vince wouldn't say 'I'll tell Steward Kesoth to eat you!'
The more he thought about it, the more disgusted he became, and Kessus swung his head around, tossing the crazy thought out of his mind.
"Ike?" Vince helped Ike the Gray Dwarf to his feet, loosening the magical shackles that bound him and smoothing out his straggly hair in the process.
"Ike, do you live in the middle of these barren mountains?" Vince asked in a gentle manner.
Ike gave Vince a hesitant look before nodding, "Yes, noble wizard lord."
"Old master?" Vince laughed out loud, "Am I old?"
"No, no, no! You are not old!" Ike's gray skin flushed with a rush, and he carefully glanced at the dark magic dragon downstairs, fearing that Vince would tell the dark magic dragon to eat him in general.
"No need to be nervous, Ike." Vince took out a bottle of fresh water and handed it to him, then said, "Life in the wilderness mountains is hard, isn't it?"
Ike couldn't help but nod his head and look at Qing Shui eagerly.
"Drink." Vince sat back in his recliner and said gently, "Ike, what do you guys live on in the deserted mountains?"
Step by step, Vince set out to find out what life was like for the Gray Dwarf tribe so that he could take them in without any problems.
The barren mountains were as they were, wanting and wanting nothing, and life for these gray dwarves was, ironically, hard!
"Honorable Wizard Master, we usually eat the desert sand snakes in the mountains, and sometimes we also eat the Thorn Magic Rabbit." Ike answered honestly.
"So how many people are in your tribe?"
Ike looked at Vince and thought for a moment before saying, "There are about three hundred people in our tribe."
"Oh?"
Three hundred?
Looks like it's just a small tribe!
Slightly disappointed, Vince said, "So where do you guys live?"
Ike looked at him warily and said timidly, "What do you want, noble wizard lord?"
Not waiting for Vince to speak, he then said, "Noble Wizard Master, the barren mountains we live in have no resources whatsoever, so why can't you let us have those barren mountains?"
"We just live peacefully in the mountains, neither a threat nor a hindrance to your city. Couldn't you just leave us alone?"
"Honorable Wizard Master, Ike kneels for you, please spare our tribe!" The short Ike fell to his knees, his forehead resting against the ground, trembling as he said.
"Hahahahaha~~~"
Vince laughed out loud, "Ike, you're overthinking this, I just want you gray dwarves to work for me."
Ike raised his head in confusion, "Your Honorable Wizard Lord, we Gray Dwarves don't know anything but mining. Around here, there aren't any mineral veins."
"Are there really no veins?" Vince asked rhetorically.
Ike thought about it and suddenly froze, then remembered a legend within the clan.
"You."
"What about me?"
"Honorable Wizard Master, do you also know the legends within our clan?" Ike asked uncertainly.
Vince smiled inscrutably, how did he know about any legends, he relied on his divine artisan level mineral discrimination and magical material discrimination to discover the Jedi Magic Metal, as well as the vein of magic crystals wrapped in the Jedi Magic Metal.
"Guess what, Ike?"
Ike's expression struggled for a while, and finally shrugged his head and said, "There was once a legend circulating among our clan, and the legend says that in this barren mountain range, there is a huge vein of magic crystals!"
"However, for thousands of years, the clan's prospecting experts have repeatedly explored and excavated, and none of them have found any trace of a magic crystal vein. As a result, a part of the clan had a disagreement and ended up leaving the tribe with a part of their people, migrating to other places."
"Honorable Wizard Master, could it be that you have found that vein of magic crystals?" Ike said with a hint of fervor in his eyes.
Kessos and Raine looked at Vince with the same agitated expression.
A vein of magic crystals!
That's good stuff!
Hard currency coins that are stronger than gold coins!
Strategic goods!
Cultivation Essentials!
"That's right, I found that magic crystal mine!" Vince nodded his head in acknowledgement.
A thoughtful expression appeared on Kesoth's face, the things he couldn't figure out before seemed to have all become clear at once with the appearance of the vein of magic crystals.
However, what he didn't know was that Vince was so determined to choose the Wilderness Plains, but only because it was barren enough and not within the boundaries of any empire, and because his bottom line was a wide variety of advanced alchemy, magical medicine, and forging products, rather than magic crystal veins!
"Ike, if I wanted your entire tribe to come and help me mine, do you think that would be feasible?" Vince asked.
Ike thought for a moment and shook his head, "Honorable Wizard Master, I don't think that's possible. Although I know you are a good man, our clan leader would not agree."
"Oh? Why wouldn't your patriarch agree to that?" Vince wondered.
It was reasonable to say that life in the barren mountains was very hard, so if there was a better environment, then the Gray Dwarf Tribe shouldn't have rejected it.
"Our tribe, we have been tricked by humans a few times, thus causing the leader to distrust humans." Ike sighed.
"Uh," Vince was a little depressed, not realizing it was such a question.
"Ike, come here." Vince led Ike over to the parapet and pointed to the city under construction, "See, there's my future city."
"That's Miracle City, and I can give you and your tribe citizenship!" Vince said flatly.
Ike looked at Vince excitedly, "Honorable Wizard Master, will you really give us citizenship?"
A citizen of a city represents formal integration into the city and protection by the city. For the subhuman race, this is a very sacred title.
There weren't many cities that could truly accept the subhuman race. That was why Ike was so excited.
"Ike, as long as you dig for me, you will be given citizenship and protection from the City of Wonders!" Vince promised.
Ike knelt down on one knee, "Lord City Lord, I think we, the Gray Dwarf Tribe, will work well for you!"
"Good good good! Get up. Later on, you'll take Steward Kessus and go to your tribe. By the way, move your tribe out so that the magic crystal mine can be excavated as soon as possible!"
Vince turned his head to Kessos and said, "Steward Kessos, you follow Ike and make sure to bring all the Gray Dwarves, safely back to the City of Wonders!"
Kessos bowed, "Please don't worry, Master Vince."
"Rayne, have your team of earth magicians speed up a bit. The City of Miracles should appear on this earth as soon as possible, so that the name of miracles will resonate throughout the entire world of Clentia!"
Rayne Ursus bent down respectfully and fawned, "Please don't worry, I will urge the magicians to build and complete the Miracle City as fast as possible!"
"Go on!" Vince waved his hand and slumped back into the recliner.
As the sun was setting, the Miracle City was still being built in a feverish manner. The fire magicians dispersed the darkness of the night, and the entire sky of Miracle City was as white as day.
