Ace was slithering through the streets of his home town completely undetected by his prey. He started chasing her, watching her every move since she left angry from her apartment two hours ago. She went straight to the electronics's store and ordered a phone and a laptop. His little brother texted him from the store. He couldn't take any risk with this woman. The hole clan was on her tail, reporting everything back to him. Now she was inside an ophthalmologist clinic, trying glasses with that damn cat of hers. The doctor texted him that she said, it was a emotional support animal, that she didn't go anywhere without him. To him it looked like those familiars, that all the witches had, or maybe she just had a connection with the cat, like he had with his baby wolf. Ace just couldn't make his mind for now, about her.
He watched her as she left the clinic with a new pair of cat eye glasses. If she weren't a witch, he would've fucked her senseless right now. Damn if she didn't looked like she could kill you with a single stare, with those glasses on.
Ace adjusted his trousers and kept moving after her, but the shops ended and she was still moving ahead. And after that old yellow building she just past, it was only a forest. Witches loved their forests, he knew that from a vast experience.
After another mile, she removed the cat's leash and she stopped for a second to scratch him behind his ears. Fuck, with that predator free he couldn't get any close then this, for now anyway. So he crouched behind a tree and watched ready to strike in case she started anything fishy.
Those damn red specs danced everywhere around her, especially now that she was alone. He saw that the time she spent in town around people, those spectacles were diminished, almost unnoticeable. But now, now they were alive more then ever. Maybe she was anxious around other people, or just scared to be uncovered by someone.
A smirk plastered on Ace's face when he saw that all she was doing in that backpack of hers, was rolling a joint. So she was a smoker, maybe he could get close to her with his goods, and make her vulnerable so he could finally see her for who Cheryl really was. The hood was uncomfortable for her to roll, he could see the struggle of licking the joint. She sighed and removed it, getting back to her joint.
Maybe smoking his goods with her, was not a good idea, now that he could see her. Fuck, those lips of hers around a joint of his, would just make him want to have them around another stick. She had such sad eyes, that all he wanted in that moment was to make her cry from pleasure. Perfect, now he had a hard on. What the actual fuck was wrong with this women that she could get to him without doing anything besides existing. A part of him wanted to catch her doing something wrong so he could kill her in one strike, but the other part just wanted her to be a normal human woman so he could fuck her into oblivion.
The cat almost blew his cover when he looked in Ace's direction, but he got distracted when a rabbit jumped behind him, and started chasing it for the kill. Ace let out a breath of relief and continued watching Cheryl, how she put a black blanket on the ground, and started taking stuff from her wonder backpack. First it was a chocolate pudding that she arranged it in front of her with a spoon next to it, then it was chocolate muffin that she put it in front of her. It looked like she was expecting someone there with her. Ace started watching the perimeter worried that she knew some witch from town, and stopped when he heard her speak.
"I admit that for a moment I thought that not hearing you was a bliss, but please Danny, after everything that happened, I just...I need you. Please muffin' talk to me."
