Inside the dark, damp prison cell, a feeble light struggled to penetrate the gloom. Prince Olcan, despite his own dire circumstances, couldn't help but feel a sense of pity as he looked at the emaciated and battered figure before him. It had been days since Bruno had received any sustenance, and the harsh treatment he endured had left him on the verge of passing out.
With a voice that carried a hint of compassion, Olcan broke the silence, "Who are you, and why are you here?"
Bruno, his voice almost lifeless and his spirit broken, responded with a bitter tone, "Who cares to know?"
Olcan could see the despair in Bruno's eyes, and despite the situation, he couldn't help but feel a spark of empathy. "You won't survive much longer in this condition," Olcan remarked, "Without food or water, and you don't seem to be from around here. You look too weak. What were you doing with the princess?"
