As Marisa began recounting every detail of her conversation with the princess, she omitted the part concerning Princess Nimoes and Lord Raul. She had made a promise to the princess to keep that information confidential, and she had also sworn to Lord Raul that she wouldn't reveal it.
"Marisa, are you certain that's everything you're aware of?" the queen inquired calmly.
Before Marisa could reply, a loud howl echoed from deep within the palace. The maids exchanged anxious glances. Queen Thana promptly rose from her seat, and the eerie howling continued in a rhythmic pattern. The castle doors abruptly swung open as a guard rushed in to deliver urgent news: they were under attack.
"Close the castle gates immediately!" the queen commanded as she hurried outside to assess the situation and identify the attackers.
