Nimoes, still unconscious, was saved from her dangerous situation. Marcus cradled her gently in his strong arms as they made their way back to the palace. Their return will be a mix of emotions - relief that the princess was safe, sorrow for the fallen comrades, and a deep sense of accomplishment against overwhelming odds.
"Make sure none of our men are left behind, whether dead or injured. Head back to the palace immediately," Marcus ordered, carefully placing Princess Nimoes on his horse.
"My lord, what about them?" one of the guards pointed to Olcan's lifeless followers.
