Jordan felt his head ringing and spinning. The left half of his head was bleeding and some of the blood ended up covering his left eye; leaving him half blind. His body wasn't in an optimal condition either. His insides were still pretty shaken up and his left arm; the one he had used to block at the last moment was broken too.
It should have left him immobile for a while and if it was before the apocalypse then his injuries would have probably been twice as severe, he might have even died.
"Argh" Jordan groaned as he tried to get up. Only now was he realizing just how important the left arm was in maintaining the body's balance. Without his left arm's functionality, it made standing up that much more difficult.
Jordan felt as if his whole body was on the verge of breaking down. In fact he shouldn't have been able to stand at all yet he was. Even if Jordan had gotten stronger than before this was clearly out of the ordinary.
Jordan didn't notice this though. His thoughts were focused on only one thing.
'I can still move which means I can still fight' was the thought that was going through his mind at the moment. He thought of nothing else apart from fighting and pushing forward. And as his head was being filled with these thoughts his mana core pulsed and within the deepest parts of his soul a red rune began to take form.

Rina and Candice didn't move. Not because they didn't want to but because they simply couldn't.
The aura that was being released by the colossal ravid was so oppressive and powerful to the point that the ravids that had been stunned a few moments ago even though they couldn't make sense of where they were going they still managed to back off and go behind the colossal ravid like loyal soldiers going behind their general.
The colossal ravid stepped forward. It was now towering over Candice. The colossal ravid was smart enough to know that Candice was the one that had caused the earlier attack and even though it hadn't been affected for a long time. It still regarded her as a threat that needed to be taken care of as soon as possible.
Candice's whole body froze. Her instincts were telling her that even if she could move there was nothing that she could do in this situation. She would still die one way or the other. Only her eyes could follow the ravid's movement as it raised its large fist over its head before bringing it down with a force that seemed capable of flalttening a large truck.
Candice could see the fist descend. Her life flashed before her eyes. She could see the fist getting closer and closer to the point that she could feel the pressure on her face. She closed her eyes tight.
It was at that moment however that she felt a strong gust of wind blow past her face before she heard a large explosion. Her eyes opened abruptly. However what she saw made her mind go blank for a moment.
"Jordan!" she said unconsciously as she saw him stand where the colossal ravid once stood. Yet his body felt and looked different.
The most apparent thing being the red aura that seemed to be coming off of him. It surrounded him as if his body were on fire. And the pressure that she could feel coming off of him was similar to the one released by the ravid.
Jordan stood there. His mind in a daze as he looked at his closed fist. Just now he had managed to punch the ravid with more power than he could ever imagine. He felt his body overflowing with so much power that right now he didn't even think that anything could stop him in his current state.
He looked forward once more. His gaze landing on the colossal ravid that had been pushed back by six meters or so.
It's eyes looking onto him and an angry scowl forming on its lips. It growled at Jordan and slammed its fists into the ground like a gorilla.
"Bring it you overgrown dumbass!" Jordan said.
The colossal ravid charged forward like a truck down the highway. The ground shaking with its every step.
Rina and Candice watching everything from behind thought Jordan must have had a plan because there was no way anyone would face that thing head on as it charged.
However contrary to their thoughts Jordan rushed forward. His own battle cry escaping his lips as he did so.
Jordan and the ravid met half way out of the alley. The ravid swinging its large fist in Jordan's direction. Jordan responded in kind by throwing out his own fist which compared to the ravid's large fist would be the same as comparing a baby's fist to an adult.
Yet the outcome was different from what the other's imagined.
As the two fists collided a loud noise spread out followed by a shockwave that shook the walls of the alley. Jordan felt his arm shoot back due to the force of the impact and he was forced ten paces back before he stabilized himself. His right arm trembled.
'He is strong alright' Jordan thought. 'But I can match him'
He looked towards the ravid that had retreated five steps backwards. It was clear that the ravid was stronger than Jordan but only slightly. however there was one thing that managed to catch his attention.

One collision had managed to charge up his gauntlets to such a degree!
The ravid rushed forward again its fist swinging to crash Jordan from above. Jordan had charged forward as well except this time he opted not to meet the ravid's attack head on. As the fist descended, Jordan jumped up in the air like a spring. The large fist barely skimming past his feet as it hit the ground causing spider web cracks to appear.
While still in the air, Jordan spun his body while whipping out his left leg with as much force as he could manage. A round house kick aimed for the ravid's head.
The attack landed and it was a vicious blow that caused the air to explode from the other side of the ravid's head. The ravid was knocked to the side. Using the ravid's shoulder as a foot hold, Jordan backflipped into the air and as he landed on the ground he put all his strength into his legs as he shot forward like a wrecking ball.
He threw out both fists while the ravid had yet to regain its balance.
Both gauntlet covered fists smashed into the colossal ravid's solar plexus and with a bang it was sent flying. It shot off all the way across the street and into an adjacent building.
However...
"Damnit" Jordan cursed. "Why don't you just die already?"
Jordan hadn't received a notification from the system so he knew that the colossal ravid was still alive however right now he was pressed for time as the skill he was using right now wouldn't last forever.
[Rampage(Level 5 first star order)-Gives the user a massive burst of energy for a limited amount of time but it comes with consequences as it overexerts the soul's capacity with a power that is too much for it.

He had to take down the colossal ravid within 2 minutes all else they would all be sitting ducks. Jordan charged forward recklessly he went across the street and right into the building the ravid had fallen into. He appeared in what seemed to be an office building of some kind.
There were multiple desks, papers, computers and even printers scattered all over the place. There he could see that the ravid was back on its feet except there was now a dent in it's chest and the side of its head was slightly bent and bleeding.
The ravid roared in anger. The roar was so loud that it caused Jordan's ears to ache but he stayed focused. He had to stay focused and finish this off as soon as he could. He knew this was a battle that only he could take part in. Maybe if Huey had been here they might have taken it down but if he had then Jordan probably wouldn't have awoken his special trait.
The ravid picked up a desk and hauled it in his direction. Jordan dodged to the left and was about to charge in once again until he saw another desk flying in his direction. Reacting quickly Jordan managed the roll forward, the desk landing and breaking where he had been a second ago.
'I need to close the distance' Jordan thought as he dodged another desk coming in his direction.
Jordan ran forward while ravid roared once again before throwing out another desk. Jordan leapt to the side but he didn't stop his forward momentum. The ravid went to pick up another desk but it soon realized that there were no more desks around it.
Jordan took the chance and ran in finally closing the distance between the two. Stomping on the ground with his left foot and pushing off his right he swung his hip. His right leg went forward and landed right on the ravid's knee.
The joint broke on impact and the ravid roared in pain but still it swung its large fist in Jordan's direction. seeing this Jordan had no choice but to cross his arms infront of him. The large fist knocked into him pushing him back three meters. His arms throbbed and ached and the stinging pain that he felt in his left forearm told him that it was in a worse condition than when he had used it to block the ravid's first attack.
"Argh!" he groaned. 'My arms hurt like hell when I move them but still at least I can still move them'
Jordan clenched his fists infront of him. He was going to have to end this and soon.

On the plus side the ravid could no longer move. On other hand, Jordan was nowhere near killing it.
"Let me help you" he heard a voice behind him and a small smile played on his lips.
Well at least he didn't have to do it alone.
