A few moments ago…
Jordan as well as several other students had awoken only to find chaos (They had woken up an hour after Huey).
Ravids had already started attacking those who had already come back to their senses, and Mrs. Potter's dog had suddenly turned aggressive. It used to be a white furred puddle but now it was as large as a lion. It had just finished feasting off Mrs. Potter after hunting her down-she was the teacher for his class, when it locked onto its next target looking directly at him. Jordan had been at the back of the classroom while the dog was at the front so it took a couple of seconds for it to reach him.
The massive puddle pounced in his direction. Lucky for him, he was able to dodge to the side before he grabbed onto a desk. With his muscles burning he had lifted it with apparent ease and he swung it viciously at the large dog's head.
The dogs pained whimper reached his ears but he raised up the desk and swung back down once more. This time the desk shattered on impact and the dog's head was now bleeding it looked at him with enraged eyes as it tried to claw at him weakly.
Its movements were so slow that Jordan was able to dodge before he picked up another desk. He swung it at the dog's bleeding head and it let out one last cry before it stopped moving completely. At that point a small bright ball of light left the dog and entered him.

The messages continued to flash in his eyes taking him by surprise.
"Level 3? ...That's it?!" he voiced out, slightly frustrated. The fact that the system notification appeared before him wasn't much of an issue. He could easily adapt to this, in fact he thought he was some sort of protagonist at the moment. His eyes darted to the floor, a red orb directly catching his attention.
"Mh?" he picked up the red baby fist sized orb and instinctively he knew to crush it. A bright flash of white light assaulted his eyes and to his surprise when the light faded less than a second later.
There in his hands were now two black gauntlets with intricate blue runes inscribed where it resembled a forearm. His eyes sparkled when its information appeared before him.
[Thunder gauntlets {Rare grade}-When equipped it gives the user +15 strength.

'Oh hell yeah!' he excitedly exclaimed in his head. He put them on and immediately he felt its energy enter his body
[Strengthà 24(+15)]
"Kya!" he heard a scream less than a meter in front of him and immediately, he spotted a female student being attacked by a ravid. Without any hesitation he charged forward and punched the ravid through its chest. With his now 39 strength points, Jordan was at least three times stronger than an average person, the poor creature was sent flying, it knocked into the black board at the front of the class before exploding into meat paste.

"Come with me if you want to live" Jordan's deep voice reached the student before he darted to another part of the classroom to eliminate the rest of the other 4 ravids that were in the room. The number of students who seemed normal were about 10. As for the rest, they had awoken before him so the ravids and the mutated dog had done away with them.
Exiting into the corridor with the survivors following behind him.
The corridors were filled with a total of thirteen ravids that had broken out of their respective classrooms or were formerly students who had been in the corridors before the wave of mana hit. As soon as the eleven people entered, all thirteen ravids locked onto their vitalities.
"You guys head back in class and close the door" Jordan ordered feeling his excitement as well as apprehension rising. This would his first time going up against so many enemies.
The ten who had followed him out did say a word and obediently retreated. At this point the ravids had already charged forward. Jordan reacted by dodging to the side. Jordan had a little bit of training in karate so he could get a sense of the timing.
Even back then when Huey had insisted on fighting Jerard alone, he had wanted to help as much as he could so he took the time to engage in combat with the three lackeys who had followed him so that the couldn't interrupt the fight in any possible way.
Jordan's fist careened forward and the ravid's head burst like a water balloon on impact

A familiar message flashed in his retina but he dismissed it immediately. This time he took the initiative as he took a step towards the right aiming for the nearest ravid in sight.
The ravid tried to claw at him but using his gauntlets, Jordan was able to block with ease before he killed it in less than ten seconds. He moved on to the next .
After a couple of seconds, his kill count was numbering 7

Jordan's lips curled upwards and his momentum increase by a considerable margin.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Multiple explosions rang out as he killed ravid after ravid and in no time the corridor had been cleared. And Jordan stood surrounded by multiple corpses that had either burst heads of caved chests.
Jordan called for the survivors and they obediently came out. When they saw the gruesome sight, most of them expressed pale faces. Never in their lives had they seen such a sight.
"Come on lets hurry and find a safe zone" Jordan stated. He was worried about his friends in the infirmary but he knew that he couldn't move with this large number of people so he first need to find a safe zone, one that wasn't stained with blood.
He led the group down a set of short stairs and he was now in the hallway which led to the front door. Fortunately this hallway was cleared and standing a few meters away seemed to be another group of survivors who looked at Jordan's group with a pleasant surprise.
