Mikha'el became wary. She saw the same man staring at her during her first performance. She had that feeling of uneasiness settling inside her even though she saw him as an audience to her performance.
"Do you need something?" Damon asked, stepping before Mikha'el and blocking the man away from her.
"Ah, I just want to talk to Miss One," the man replied with a friendly grin. "My approach might be too much. By the way, I am Belphegor, but you can call me Belp for short!" he introduced cheerfully.
"Hello Belp. I'm Damon," he introduced himself, extending his hand for a handshake. He maintained a guarded tone, and his watchful gaze shifted between Belphegor and Mikha'el, ready to step in if the situation warranted.
Belphegor raised an eyebrow as he shook hands with Damon. Confusion was evident on his face after Damon interfered with him.
