Turning to see the Alpha and doctor staring at them with raised eyebrows, they froze to the floor like manikins.
With a shake of his head, Alpha Alvin walked away while the doctor still continued staring at them.
"You both should get a room," he said before adjusting his glasses and walking away, leaving the couples embarrassed.
"What do you think, Emily, should we get a room?" Lucas whispered in her ears with a smirk, earning him an annoyed response from Emily.
"Jeez! Lucas, you are a pervert. I'm even more embarrassed now," she complained before walking away.

Annabelle groaned in her sleep, her face contorted in pain as tears streamed down her cheeks.
She continued groaning, a pained expression was worn on her face, while she felt sparks on her face as someone cleaned away her eyes.
"What.." she answered sleepily, squinting her eyes.
"Annabelle," Alpha Alvin called again, having stayed awake all night keeping watch on her.
"Ahhh!" she cried louder, clutching her stomach where the strange girl's claws had scratched her.
"Alvin?" she called when she opened her eyes and saw him staring down at her, completely awake.
"It's painful," she complained, trying to sit up.
"Come here," he said, making her lie beside him.
Lifting her dress while ensuring her breast wasn't exposed, he examined the deep scratches on her stomach while Annabelle watched dizzily.
"I think her claws were poisonous...." he observed, telling her about the girl's intentions to kill her.
"And she really detested you for making it go this deep."
"It seems she did it with the aim of killing you," he continued observing the scratches and telling her.
"She said she would kill me," Annabelle said weakly, her eyes fixed on him.
"Don't worry, Annabelle, she won't kill you," he tried assuring her.
"I'll help you reduce the pain," he said, and placed his hands on her head, uttering some inaudible words, his gaze locked with her.
Before she could ask him what he was doing, her eyelids fluttered closed, and she fell asleep.
With a sigh, he continued to stare at the scratches on her stomach.
She wasn't safe. The girl she fought was an assassin, sent to eliminate the Luna.
How could someone like Annabelle fight with an assassin and survive? Her explanation and the students' confirmation is a proof that she had truly fought to be able to survive.
But what could he expect from a stubborn, anti-bully mate? She wouldn't back down so easily.
He wasn't surprised; he had secretly watched her fight students, thinking they were humans like her, but they weren't.
Their aims differed. The first intended to kill her to prevent her from killing him. The others wanted her blood to manipulate her into killing him. Two adversaries against him and his mate.
Lucas tried making the assassin reveal her master without torture, but she refused. Torture might yield answers if persuasion fails.
If she still doesn't open up, he'll do it the fun and childish way.
He couldn't imagine his little Annabelle fighting with someone like her.
He felt bad for his mate, and wished he could send her back, but he couldn't. He was too busy to keep her safe, that's why he grounded her in the mansion, but she ended up making him send her to the pack house.
She should have learnt her lesson by now, but he shouldn't have been so angry at her to send her away.
It looks like the universe was against him. After finally finding his mate, in return, she was the only one who could kill him. And she was a human. How can that be possible?
Losing one's mate hurts, and he couldn't let his little mate go through such pain.
She had already suffered from the pain of just the marking, and she barely escaped death. He needs to survive for her, no matter what.
Despite what she said, he knew she had no idea about it, so how would he also explain this to her? Should he let her figure it out on her own? He was confused. He had been so confused lately, and couldn't think straight. The strange behavior of his mate was also worsening his case.
The college has been closed down due to none of the students being smart enough to detect a rogue in their midst and protect their Luna, but instead, they put her life at stake.
The lecturer who had exposed her to danger wasn't breathing anymore and could no longer be counted among the living. How foolish of him for exposing his mate to such a brutal life.
It always pained him whenever he remembered how he saw her covered in blood and staggering down the road with
Emily and Lucas behind her doing nothing.
He was also disappointed in Lucas.
Being his Beta, he would have carried her into the car, knowing the state she was in.
Even though she refused, he would have forced her, not to let her walk away while badly injured.
He had sensed danger from where he was.
He was having a meeting with the elders when he heard someone scream.
The scream was so loud that it distracted the elders and they got worried that something bad must have happened for someone to scream like that.
Peeping through the window, he saw a girl dressed in a school uniform, covered in blood to the extent that as she walked, trails of blood were left behind.
She was badly injured but he couldn't see her face.
But then a car stopped and his Beta and mate came out and ran towards the bleeding girl.
He watched as Emily kept yelling with her face already pale and his Beta shocked at the state of the girl.
When he used his wolf abilities to listen to their conversation, "You are bleeding
Annabelle, look at the floor, your uniform and hair," was what he heard Emily yell which made him squint his eyes as he wasn't seeing the face of the girl.
"Don't yell at me like that, I don't want to talk to any of you. Tell your Alpha to return me back to my home, I need to take care of my dad," he heard the girl say weakly, and that was when he realized that it was his mate he had been watching all this while covered in blood.
Running down the stairs, he ran outside only to see the scene of Annabelle staggering as she was crossing the road unknown to her that a truck was coming behind her with speed.
The screams of Emily made her turn and that was when she saw the incoming truck and did what she could do best, by fainting.
That was what he expected her to do, knowing who she is.
Within a blink of an eye, he had teleported to where she was, carried her up and disappears, not minding that he wasn't supposed to use his powers. His mate's safety was more important than the rules
Observing his hands, his fangs elongated and he bit on it, making his blood flow out freely as they dripped on the scratches on Annabelle's stomach.
Watching as his blood slowly dissolved into her injured flesh, the scratches started disappearing slowly, as her exposed flesh was being covered back by her skin as his blood was helping it heal faster.
Eventually her stomach became flawless and fair as if nothing had happened to it.
Going down the bed, he took a towel and used it in cleaning the blood from her stomach before covering her dress and returning the towel to the bathroom.
Making her lay her head on his chest as she slept, he covered them with the duvet while he stared at her.
She was beautiful, her long lashes that fluttered easily when she was angry, her thick brows and red heart shaped lips.
She was indeed beautiful, but he could only wonder why the moon goddess would give him a human as a mate.
She was so vulnerable and fragile that if he lost his mind he could hurt her and she wouldn't be able to defend herself.
Being his mate is the worst thing that has ever happened to her, he knows. He just had too many secrets to open up to her, but it might only worsen her situation.
So many people are out there, already seeking to take her life.
They would want to use her to get him by all means, and she wouldn't be able to live her normal life like how she was before she became his mate.
